This hotel does not offer guests any unwanted attention - which I always prefer. The breakfast was outstanding. Special thanks to Ms Ipshita, Mr Madan and Mr Tapas at the restaurant. They offered remarkable services. I will prefer this hotel in my next trip to Chennai."

"The location is good, although it's a bit of a walk from the metro station. There are restaurants and small shops nearby, giving it a local feel, perfect for strolling around. There were a few snacks in the room, which was a nice touch. However, there was no hairdryer or hangers, which was a bit inconvenient for me as I prefer to do laundry in my room. It was a clean hotel, and I would definitely like to stay there again!"

"I am a tourist from Malaysia, staying in Somerset Greenways Chennai for 9 days. I had an very good stay here mainly because of the excellent service of othe DM, Mr. Mehtab. He has attended to all my concerns with patience, kindness and efficiency. An example - I desperately needed to purchase some Indian magazines such as "Kumutham", "Mangai Malar", "Anantha Vigadan" etc for my mother in Malaysia. I tried in many places but I could not find any places which sold these magazines. What was I to do ? My flight is tomorrow morning back to Malaysia and the magazines were the only thing my mother requested. How to go back without them ? I was in a dilemma. Another very kind gentleman came to my rescue. His name is Mr. Prabu. He is such a sweet, thoughtful young ***. Upon hearing of my plight, he went out of his way to buy the magazines for me. Both Mr. Mehtab and Mr. Prabhu are exemplary in their service and go ll out to make the customer happy. I would like to record my gratitude and appreciation to them. Thank you very much, Mr. Mehtab & Mr. Prabhu. God bless 🙏 ."

"The hotel is actually getting outdated with boring interior with fading colors and stripping off hard materials, they should do something about getting rid of birds that pooping on windows and unpleasant views. Exterior obviously can see lots of cracks all over building. Fayaz the front desk guy check in dunno how to smile when welcoming customers. You are saying it’s luxury collection hotel but something you have to work on it. Otherwise competitor will take over."

"Location: Excellent Facilities: Good Service: Unsatisfactory 1. There was no one to greet us upon arrival 2. Our suitcases were unattended and we had to carry them to our room ourselves. 3. Mosquitoes everywhere. 4. We had to request for mosquito repellent. The hotel staff should be more attentive and ensure rooms are stocked with essentials. 5. The food we ordered for in-room dining was not even warm (forget hot food). We only ordered some fries and a sandwich - not sure if the fries were prepared and shipped from France 😂 Will never opt this place again."

"The room was very spacious overall, and the service was pretty good. The breakfast in the morning was extensive, and you could order à la carte. The local food was quite good, and there's also a restaurant on the ninth floor. At the front desk, you can choose between water and cucumbers."

"I recently stayed at Ibis OMR and unfortunately had a disappointing experience, particularly with the service from the receptionist, Mr. Ram. I felt misled about the pricing, which resulted in me paying significantly more than I had anticipated. When I checked in, I was not clearly informed about the charges and fees of room retention, all other receptionist did not indicate any charges for room retention except Mr.Ram. Mr. Ram’s explanations were vague and left me feeling uncertain about the total cost. When I inquired further, I received inconsistent answers, which only added to my frustration. I believe transparency in pricing is crucial for any hotel experience, and this situation made my stay far less enjoyable, because of the repeated torture of the receptionist especially Mr. Ram. I hope the management addresses this issue, as it could improve the experience for future guests. Overall, I cannot recommend Ibis OMR based on my experience."

The room was super clean, well maintained, and equipped with good amenities for a comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a nice variety of options. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations — highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travelers."
