The hotel has front and back entrances that are connected. There's a Starbucks in the hotel lobby. The exit near the Starbucks leads directly to Magnificent Mile. With your back to the hotel, walking a few hundred meters to your right will take you to the river and the boat tour boarding point, which is super close. If you walk to your left, after a few traffic lights, you'll find the world's largest Starbucks, and further down is the Water Tower.

I really loved the room, it had a great American vibe. The location is in the city center, very convenient with subway and bus stations nearby, plus plenty of restaurants and coffee shops. The staff were very polite and proactively helpful. The only downside was the terrible Wi-Fi; it kept disconnecting, so I ended up using my own mobile data the whole time.
