"The most delightful surprise of our entire trip to Thousand Island Lake was our stay at Burrett. The hotel boasts prime lakefront views, lush gardens, and picturesque scenery everywhere—it’s far from the hustle and bustle of the city and incredibly peaceful. The grounds are well-maintained, and the environment is clean and elegant. Zhang at the front desk was warm and welcoming, providing thoughtful and attentive service while efficiently handling check-in and check-out. The guest rooms featured first-class views and met high standards of cleanliness. Falling asleep to the sights of the lake and mountains made for a perfect and relaxing vacation."

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the InterContinental Qiandao Lake. The room was absolutely stunning, and the lake view was breathtaking. One of the most special features of the room was the bathroom design — the bathtub was positioned so that you could relax while enjoying the beautiful lake scenery, which made for a truly memorable experience. The staff were polite, friendly, and always willing to help. I also loved the hotel's interior design, which features a lot of natural wood, creating a warm and elegant atmosphere throughout the property. The breakfast offered a good selection of both Western and Chinese dishes. There is also a nice local Chinese restaurant nearby where you can try the region's famous fish, which I highly recommend. The only downside was transportation. Unfortunately, I missed my train because we were unable to get a taxi for about 40 minutes. Even though I tried to arrange transportation in advance, it was still not enough. The hotel does not provide a taxi service, so I would strongly recommend allowing plenty of extra time if you need to catch a train or have a fixed schedule. Apart from that, everything was wonderful, and I had an amazing stay. I would happily return in the future ☺️"

"The room is clean and tidy and has a comfortable balcony. There is no odor and the service is also very good. It is very close to the Central Lake District Pier, about 10 minutes by electric car. The only drawback is that there is a food stall downstairs, which woke me up in the middle of the night."

"It's a bargain hotel, very good price for its quality. The only negative part is that swimming pool doesn't open from 12-4pm, apparently because of the hot weather. So it would be just open during the very morning and afternoon when there's no sun at all! We couldn't really enjoyed it."
