The view from the scenic room was also excellent. Just a quick note: the boat tour in Qiandao Lake scenic area was terrible – expensive, and the food on the island was overpriced and unappetizing. My companion even joked that Qiandao Lake should be called 'Thousand Knives' (a pun on its name and how much it gouges you), no wonder fewer tourists are coming."

"The hotel offers two free shuttle bus services daily to and from the high-speed rail station, which you can book by calling the hotel in advance. When the occupancy isn't too high, the front desk will even proactively upgrade your room! We got upgraded to a Little Yellow Duck themed suite with my daughter, which was amazing! The hotel's entertainment facilities are quite abundant, though a bit on the small side. I have to say, the Upup water activities and Wild World are definitely worth trying. Candy, Miranda, and Lily provided warm and attentive service, and even gave my child a farewell gift. All the hotel's GOs (Gracious Organizers) are very enthusiastic, and a big thank you to the shuttle bus drivers for their hard work!"

"Thanks to Meiyangyang for upgrading our room; the service was warm and polite. The Hilton Qiandao Lake Resort is very new. We drove there, and as soon as we parked the car in front of the hotel, the security guard thoughtfully put a sunshade on our front windshield. Our room on the 27th floor was clean and tidy, with a partial lake view. There are many restaurants nearby, and the mall is also within walking distance. The room was clean and hygienic, the bedding was comfortable, and the breakfast was rich and delicious, including freshly baked bread, welcome fruit, and even a departure gift. We'll definitely come again next time!"

"Okay, so we went during the national holiday so I appreciate that the prices were higher than normal but I really feel like for the amount paid, it just wasn’t worth it. The room amenities were lacking and didn’t include basic things like conditioner (which were listed as included on Trip) so when we asked for some, the very lovely staff rallied to find us some small travel bottles but they weren’t great so we ended up buying our own (limited options because it’s far out). The breakfast was okay but the choice was limited and the tables were always a bit sticky and unclean- and the coffee machine was terrible... It’s a shame, the staff really were very nice and helpful but the hotel prices just don’t match what you get. The pool was closed, the bed was loud and squeaky, the tables in the room were different from the photos- balcony was half the size, sofa was stained and dirty…again not terrible but really not worth the high price paid."

"The rooms in this hotel are very tidy, with many small designs, and the design is really refreshing. The room facilities are complete and new, the smart toilet is great, returning to the core theme, the bed is very comfortable to sleep on, and the fatigue is swept away. There are also some fruits and drinks in the room, which is a thumbs up. The breakfast is good, rich and delicious, the restaurant environment is great, and the dining experience is perfect. You can also eat lunch and dinner here. Every front desk service is very good and enthusiastic, especially the front desk butler Xiao Wang who received us. The service is very enthusiastic and can be said to be meticulous. I will come again next time if I have the chance."

"Suddenly got a few days off, and a quick check showed it was raining everywhere, so I decided to do a staycation around Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai. It was perfect for bringing my dog. Before leaving, I did some research and saw a pet blogger recommend Da Le Zhi Ye Qiandao Lake. Although I've been to Qiandao Lake many times, I wanted to go somewhere with water and experience a good pet-friendly hotel, so we came. It completely exceeded my expectations! 🐶 Pet-Friendly Aspects Everything was as the blogger recommended. The entire hotel is very dog-friendly, didn't charge a cleaning fee, and even provided a pet goodie bag. We stayed in two rooms at the hotel: one on the first floor with a yard and one on the second floor overlooking the lake. Although the first-floor yard isn't huge, it's outdoors, so the dog was happy running around. There's also a large lawn nearby with hardly anyone around. When we went, there were no other dogs, so we let our little one run free. Besides the heat, there was nothing to be unhappy about! But beyond being pet-friendly, the scenery, amenities, hotel facilities, and service were what truly surprised me! 🏞️ Scenery I've stayed at Atour and Wonderland Butterfly Island in Qiandao Lake before, and their views were pretty good and also lakeside, but not as close to the lake. Da Le Zhi Ye's location feels much closer to the lake. The infinity pool and the lake visually blend seamlessly, and the lakeside rooms truly make you feel like you're sitting right by the water. A water lover's dream come true! 🏙️ Amenities Because the hotel is in a rather remote resort area, I was initially worried about amenities. In reality, besides the large lawn where the dog can play, the nearby amenities for humans are completely sufficient for a two- or three-day stay. There's a supermarket, Chinese and Western restaurants, and coffee/tea shops (most of which allow pets). There's also a water sports center nearby with many activities, and you can even bring your dog to some of them. We didn't go this time as we thought it would rain and weren't fully prepared. 👫 In-Hotel Services and Facilities!! The hotel's interior design is very comfortable, simple yet elegant, and the hygiene is quite good. They provide a comprehensive range of items. I was genuinely touched to see a dedicated freestanding makeup mirror – anyone who's tried to do makeup in a hotel knows the struggle... The hotel offers many DIY craft activities and tons of board games. On our first day, it poured rain, and there was a possibility of water seeping into our lakeside room for the second day. The staff actively worked to prevent this and even suggested an upgrade to another room. While this is basic hotel service, the staff at Da Le Zhi Ye truly gave me a feeling of being very thoughtful and caring. It felt like they genuinely wanted to look after me, not just serve me, which was more comfortable than many high-end hotels I've stayed in. It's worth mentioning that I got sunburnt while playing in the water during the day, but I didn't have any after-sun products. When I asked the hotel, they didn't have any related items, but a staff member brought her own to help me out. It truly touched me, and I'm incredibly grateful to her! [emoji: folded hands, possibly 🫶 or similar, indicating gratitude] It was such a beautiful and comfortable vacation. The dog was happy, and I was even happier. I'll definitely come again if I get the chance!"

"The hotel has a good environment, close to the lake, and there are go-karts and hot air balloons next to it. To the left of the garage entrance is the beer museum. The hotel gave two experience coupons, which introduced a lot of cultural knowledge about beer, and you can see the processing of beer. The hotel restaurant was very good. Because there were two girls, they suggested that we order half a fish head so that it would not be wasted. The dishes of the civil engineering also suited our appetite."

"This hotel is amazing. We accidentally discovered this inn while cycling in Qiandao Lake on May 1. After visiting it, we felt that the environment and the attitude of the staff were great. It was quite expensive during the 5.1 holiday and it was fully booked, so we decided to stay here during our self-driving tour. As a result, we and two other families basically reserved the place on May 6-7. It was a pity that dogs were not allowed in the swimming pool and the glass boat was not allowed. At noon, a few girls passed by on their bikes and came in to eat. Overall, this hotel is like a secluded little paradise. It has everything you need. You can also experience a singing bowl when you check in. I was a little tired because of the self-driving tour + outdoor experience, so I made an appointment for an attributed body treatment. Overall, this was a very good experience. I also made an appointment to take my parents to experience it during the Dragon Boat Festival."

Service: We had to wait an hour and a half to check in after arriving at the hotel (we arrived at 1:30 AM). Service: Hotel prices tripled during the holiday, but breakfast was still not included; we had to buy it, and the staff even had a notebook to keep track of it. It's incomprehensible why they offer late-night snacks but not breakfast."

The lakeside hotels are superb—clean, comfortable, with attentive service and excellent facilities. The location is superb, the scenery breathtaking, the food plentiful, the sleep comfortable, and parking convenient. I'll definitely be back!"

"Meilun is a very comfortable hotel. First off, the front desk staff's welcoming and departing service gave a very warm feeling, and the service was prompt and attentive. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was divided into three areas, all very functional. In particular, the wash basin was large and deep, so water didn't splash when used. The bedding was clean, and the breakfast was abundant. There's plenty of free parking in the underground garage. You can also walk from the underground garage to Lianhua Supermarket, which is convenient for shopping."
