"We stayed in the hotel with group of friends. The experience was really nice — rooms are clean and design are interesting and cozy. You will have breakfast in the other hotel next door and it’s delicious. Also you can use territory of other hotel — there are really nice lounge zone, pool and sea-view. We enjoyed. Only one thing was disturbing — if you want to sleep with open windows it can be really noisy. Because of the buses (going from early morning) and loud people (who were singing and screaming drunk). But if you close the window everything is perfect. Thanks"

"Overall great stay and we'll likely be back next time we visit Madeira. Great location close to lots of restaurants and bars, and bus stops. It's not too far to walk to the city center and there's lots to see on the way there, too. The rooms were clean, shampoo etc. was provided and there were even extra blankets which we were very grateful for as it can be chilly at night. What we did not enjoy that much was the breakfast, as both restaurants serve about the same food and it was the same every morning. The taste was ok but we probably won't add breakfast the next time we stay, or not for all days. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, however, the hotel appeared to be understaffed, meaning we'd have to wait quite a bit to receive service, e.g., at the reception, and staff seemed stressed at times."

"We had a room on the 2nd floor. And we were all satisfied. A spacious room with everything necessary. In 10 minutes walking a big supermarket, in 30-yard old town. Several of us arrived in the evening and even though it was indicated that we will be contacted with check in details, we were faced with a locked entrance upon arrival and had to call the number stated there on the board. A person arrived like 30min later only to do the check in process. Same with check out since the housekeeper had to come from another hotel to open the door for us."

The breakfast was ok but it felt a bit simple. The variety of the breakfast could be improved. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall I enjoyed my stay in this hotel."
