Please take a look when you arrive.Prescott is known as "Everybody's Hometown", as well as "Arizona's Christmas City". Every season of the year has its charms and special activities here in our Mile High City. Our events begin with the Whiskey Row New Year's Eve "Boot Drop" and move on into the year with the many Arts and Crafts shows and summer concerts on "The Square" (Prescott Courthouse Square). Prescott's Frontier Days in July include "The World's Oldest Rodeo" and in October the streets are filled with goblins trick-or-treating the historic downtown neighborhoods, particularly on Mt. Vernon Street. The year comes to an end with the annual Christmas parade, Courthouse lighting, and Acker Night (music and cookies hosted by many businesses on and around"The Square"). Prescott has something for everyone to enjoy. Try some of our favorite restaurants or browse the shops on the square, rent a kayak and paddle around Goldwater Lake just a couple of miles from the chalet.
