Well, it’s fine. I wouldn’t recommend this to most foreign travelers, but if you’re on a budget, it’s good. Also if you don’t care about other people’s hair everywhere. Found so much on the mattress and in the bathroom, short black hair that I don’t have. It could use a new paint job and the curtains (bathroom and window) both have seen better days. But for the price and the location it’s fine. Also the ‘towels’ they provide are only daily disposable ones wrapped in plastic, what a waste and bad for the environment.

This hotel's location is genuinely brilliant, right in the city centre next to the Zhongshan subway and plaza, and for this price point, you really can't ask for better. The staff were friendly and helpful despite the language barrier (Google Translate sorted us out fine), and the cleaning team were lovely too. The room was decent and properly clean, I checked for dust and there wasn't any. However, the hotel is quite old, and there was some mould on the ceiling and in the bathroom and shower curtain. It didn't bother me personally, but worth noting, and a bit of spray would be great. That said, Dalian was incredibly humid when I visited in late August, so I suspect this is partly a climate issue. Even my own towels wouldn't dry properly. The place was quite busy, mainly Chinese customers, but they were quiet and discreet. Practical bits: they provide two bottles of water daily and disposable paper towels (which actually came in handy given the humidity). The room also had a washing machine (bring your own detergent) and you can hang clothes outside on the 9th floor veranda. There's a bus stop right outside with direct services to Xian Lu (shopping and basement food market) and the Transport University area night market, the subway goes straight to the airport, and you're walking distance from the main tourist spots like Russian Street, the old tram etc. Plenty of restaurants nearby too. And two convenience stores on ground floor. This place accepts foreign tourists and check-in was quick and easy. Internet was fast but slower in the evenings. Honestly, some of the complaints I've read here seem a bit harsh considering what you're paying. You get what you pay for, and at this price point in this location, I think it's fair value. I'd stay here again, especially if travelling on a budget. Thank you, we had a lovely time in Dalian!

Good location, next to railway station and have all the facilities except wifi is no good. Helpful staff

I liked this hotel , had all the basic amenities and services. The hotel is located only 5 mins away from Zhongshan square , the nearest metro station is line 2 exit D1 about 3 mins walk. Very Peaceful and friendly staff. Hotel has a mini bar and a mini mart on its ground floor. Friendship center is about 8 mins walk from the hotel. Overall affordable for students and solo travelers.

Location and amenities of the hotel are good. Overall I was satisfied. I requested a non smoking room but was given a room clearly meant for smoking. However, since I only stayed one night I didn’t bring it up and can’t comment on the hotels willingness to change rooms for me.

It was ok… the position is good, near to the metro station.

The hotel accepts foreigners. Great location, a walking distance from Dalian Station, essentially on Zhongshan Square. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was good, there's even a washing machine (didn't use it though). The staff was kind and helpful. Perhaps the only problem was that the room card didn't work, so I had to get a password, which also expired daily at midnight, and I had to contact the reception to get a new one. But that's not how it's supposed to be, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Overall, a great option.

Even though I am a foreigner who doesn’t speak English, the staff was very patient in using an app translator tool so that we both can understand. Unfortunately, the sound proofing in the room wasn’t pretty good BUT GOOD THING that my neighbor wasn’t noisy.

The hotel is in a very convenient location and is a great landing point. Zhongshan square is a very nice area with a lot of activities and easy subway and connecting bus stations. The room itself, however, had very dirty walls (you can see if you zoom in) and had a terrible smell. The sheets on the bed were very clean. The bathroom was in dire need of being remodeled. The staff were very friendly and nice and gave me great advice for things to do. I appreciated their help.

Good location, however the room is terrible.

The hotel has nice layout. Just a mentalities could be improved and lighting can be improved and other accessories can be done better
