"Since I hadn't seen any reviews for this hotel initially, I assumed the room photos were just renderings. So, I braved the rain that morning to walk from my previous hotel to check out the room, and it far exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and bright, exactly as pictured – it felt like being back in China! The overall amenities were basically the same as other hotels with the same name in China, and it even had voice control. They reportedly have their own laundry facility, and I personally found the linens to be very clean; my skin didn't feel uncomfortable at all during my three-day stay. The hotel has a milk tea and coffee bar on the first floor, which is very convenient. The restaurant also offers coffee and various Chinese dishes. The Chinese chef's buffet and à la carte dishes were both excellent. I rarely write reviews, but I feel that such a thoughtful and ambitious hotel and its owner deserve to be known by more people. Thank you to the hotel owner and team for making us feel at home and for helping us solve many everyday problems. I will recommend it to all my friends visiting Douala."

"For the local area, the hotel seemed practically brand new, offering Western standards, a nicely furnished room, a bathroom with a rain shower, a small restaurant that serves good food suitable for Europeans, a typical local breakfast with salad and omelet, friendly and German-speaking staff (at reception), a rooftop terrace with a view over the city and a small pool, a fitness room, Wi-Fi, an elevator, parking in front of the hotel, and credit cards accepted! On the downside: the TV had a Chinese remote and unfortunately only French channels, and the surroundings were unfamiliar to Europeans! In conclusion: For the local area, a very good hotel with friendly staff and good food. Would gladly stay again!"

"Overall, the hotel experience was excellent. The upstairs guest rooms were equipped to four-star standards and were very comfortable. There was a restaurant downstairs, and foot massage and hairdressing services were available on the third floor, making daily life very convenient. The front desk staff spoke English and French, so communication was completely barrier-free, making travel and accommodation very worry-free. Highly recommended."

"The hotel is ideally located and easily accessible. We came as a big family for an event with our grand father who is sick. The service at first was just horrible (the most unpleasant person being the reception manager) following several complaints it finally came to an acceptable level, leaving the feeling that we were unnecessarily difficult. The same for the cleaning, we had cockroaches on two incidents including in the bed, we equally voiced firmly our concerns to get the necessary attention and care especially for our grand dad who’s sick. The food is OK with several options except halal and sugar free options. Again here the staff at breakfast except some specific employees is poorly trained and occasionally unprofessional, every interaction required arguments to explain basic customer service. In terms of value for money, we expected a better service in general. Nevertheless after solid arguments improvements were made to make  us feel comfortable. We won’t  come back here but it’s worth sharing constructive feedback known to the public."
