Tingri Homestays

"The monastery being built next door meant we couldn't watch the Everest sunrise from our beds. However, no other hotel is closer to the final destination. A room can accommodate 4 people, making it better value for money than staying at the base camp. This hotel is at an altitude of 5000 meters. The cleanliness was much better than what we experienced on Mount Tai. I didn't give it five stars because the top of Mount Emei is even better, so there's room for improvement. I had a headache, and the owner gave me some medicine that worked instantly. The owner was very welcoming. My child made a super rich and sweet milk tea themselves, which led us to buy a large amount of milk powder when we got back, and now we brew tea and drink it every day at home."
