"Close to Si Hom Market, there's a lot of food variety at night. The room was good, new, clean, and stylish, definitely good value for money. The location is excellent. Breakfast was served individually. The bathroom was nice, and the AC was cold. Coffee, tea, and drinking water were provided. I'm deducting 1 point because the Wi-Fi kept cutting in and out."

"I really enjoyed my stay at Demi Cafe & Hostel. During my 2 days at the hostel with my friends, I was fulfilled by all staffs. The restaurant staffs were excellently friendly and well-organized. I really enjoyed to use my UnionPay credit card from Thailand without any surcharge at the hostel. The reception staff was very enthusiastic and his Thai and English were very well even I, as a Thai native, was astonished by his Thai skills and his friendliness. The night and the morning reception was also very welcoming. We enjoyed Laotian alms giving ceremony there which was occupied with no cost. I loved this stay. There were some minor concerns. The keys of our room for 8 person were quite hard to unlock the door. And a drainage hole of a bathroom in our room was a little bit difficult to drain out the used water. However, these minor concerns could be resolved easily by their own ability and skills and this could make this hostel be a more perfect place to stay. I hope I could have an opportunity to revisit the accommodation very soon. Thank you for all of your kindness and excellent hospitality."

"Great location, close to the community but not too busy. The AC in the room was excellent, and the bed was comfy, allowing for a full night's sleep. The only issue, which seems to be common in hostels in Laos, is the bathroom—specifically, the sink and shower areas have no space to put your toiletries."

As a solo traveler, I sometimes worried about the safety of my belongings since it was my first time booking a shared room, but it was all worth it. Not only that, but the place is also accessible to both night and morning markets. I would highly recommend this place—100% guaranteed! 💯"

"Returned to this hotel. My flight was at 5:45 PM, and I arrived in Vientiane from Pakse at 8 AM. So, I booked a room again to rest, store my luggage, do laundry, and shower. Since I hadn't showered for two nights on the bus, it was a huge relief when the hotel immediately washed my clothes. By the time I checked out at 2 PM, everything was dry. I called the hotel and spoke to someone at the front desk who spoke Chinese. I was able to arrange an early check-in for the morning (my flight was the night before) and a late check-out until 2 PM, for which I paid the standard fee. When I was checking in, the other staff members didn't seem to understand and kept searching for today's booking, saying they couldn't find it, and initially refused the late check-out. Luckily, a Chinese guest I had met during my previous stay was still there and helped communicate in English. They eventually allowed me to check in but still insisted on a 12 PM check-out. However, I didn't actually use the bed, so they didn't need to clean it; I just took a shower and sat in the lobby until 2 PM. This hotel offers great value for money, and the food is delicious. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Vientiane."
