"Clean and comfy beds, big common area with sofas, chairs and working tables. Located in a quiet street easy walking distance from bus station and to night market/Mekong.
Rooms do not lock and are easylie accessible by strangers. A lot of Moskitos why they burn Moskito spirals in the evening. Even inside the rooms. After two nights everything smells of smoke.
Breakfast was disappointing. Choice of 1 Egg, 2 Toast or noodle soup. First day 08:20am toast was out. You get iced coffee or hot tea. No hot coffee included but can be bought..
Restaurant below the hostel is quite expensive even though you get 10% discount as guest.
Most personal do not speak English. Apart from a map with the surroundings on the wall they show you on the quick tour no further information is provided."

"The breakfast was great. Downstairs is a coffee shop that's open to guests during the day. The hostel is located on the second floor and above. It's very clean, and they have a female-only dorm. The bathroom is well-designed with a separate wet and dry area. Slippers, bath towels, shower gel, and shampoo are all provided. The room was also very quiet."

RrealgigiExcellent, I love it! I'll definitely come back to stay again. The coffee is delicious too. It's close to Patuxay and walkable, but if you're going to Si Hom Market where there are a lot of food stalls, you might need to take a ride. Everything was good, perfect!
However, I wish there was a mirror in the bedroom.

GGuest UserThe hostel has a great location, very close to the Mekong River, and other attractions are within walking distance. The rooms are clean and the bedding is cozy. All the other guests were very considerate, making for a quiet and harmonious atmosphere. The staff provided excellent service. On the first day, I saw everyone preparing their own breakfast and thought it was a self-service buffet. It wasn't until I went a bit later on the second day that I saw there was a dedicated breakfast attendant. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and also a Dimart supermarket.

GGuest UserStaying at Whitcher hostel was a great experience.
The place is new and clean and has everything you need for a very good price.
The only small thing was that to deal with the Chinese owner was a pain and very chaotic, but all of his other staff was super helpfull and friendly.
Especially a big thanks to Talo, the receptionist, whose kindness and good level of English more than made it up for his boss.
A highly recommended place!

FfsftravelIt takes about 10 minutes by taxi from the airport. The hostel has a cafe on the ground floor, and there are several restaurants and bakeries nearby. It's a 15-minute walk to the night market.
The single room has a high ceiling and no windows, but there's a hairdryer. The hostel provides a towel and one bottle of water. There's no elevator.
The shared bathrooms are co-ed, and you have to take off your shoes, which is a bit inconvenient. It would be even better if there was a mirror in the single room.

ZZachryI had an amazing stay at TT Hostel in Vientiane! The best part? It's incredibly affordable without compromising on quality.
The location is super strategic, making it easy to explore the city's main attractions. I was able to walk to nearby restaurants, shops, and landmarks with ease.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, ensuring I had a comfortable stay. The hostel itself was clean and well-maintained, with a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home.
Overall, I'd highly recommend TT Hostel to anyone looking for a budget-friendly and conveniently located place to stay in Vientiane. Five stars and can't wait to come back!

1. Location - near the riverside, not far from night market, in old town
2. Hotel vibe - lobby area traditional mixed with europeon, pool side tranquil although these are in small and tight spaces
3. Lift (+) good for the elders
Need to know before booking
1. Room - small size, very basic (no hair dryer, no freeze), very old room key card and door handle need to repair
2. Cleanliness - neat and tidy room apart from dirts and stains in toilet
3. Breakfast - Usually home made soups, rice or fried rice, boiled and fried eggs, sausage, banana or watermelon, bread, instant coffee, milk
But staff provided scrambled eggs when we asked for.
4. TV (+) but very low quality
5. Kichen - No service apart from breakfast (compensated with many restaurants nearby)
6. Staff not helpful in seeking tourist information (like where to buy Train tickets)

We were on the top floor in a private room that was described as having two queen beds. I might be wrong but it doesn't look or feel like two queen beds. Might be wrong.
It was very hot on the top floor, so it's good that the AC was working well.
The wall was peeling off in some places. I would not complain, but for the price we had paid I expected an a lot better room. I haven't been in the shared room, it might be better.
NB the reception works until 10pm. A bit inconvenient, but it's okay. But we arrived at 9:45 pm, and the receptionist had already left and was on his way home. So we were seen to our room by another worker who could not provide us with some info or change the room.

라라그리마The accommodation is located about 15 minutes walk from the cbs (Zhongyan Bus Terminal), the cleanliness of the accommodation is very good, but it is uncomfortable because there is no water purifier, and there is only one washroom and shower room in 12 rooms with beds.
Breakfast consists of two egg fries, two pieces of bread and vegetables
The hostel boss does not go to work, only the staff work or stay, and the hostel gate opens at 08:00 and closes at 21:00 (anytime you press the bell, the door is open, but it is inconvenient)

CChok YetHostel just opposite the night food market, 100m from D Mart, the local supermarket, and street food sellers all over, and restaurants. Good location to ”see” Vientiane on feet.
Hostel look old, almost all guests are from mainland China, which I understood some stay far extended time.
