The price of renting ski equipment at the hotel is cheaper than going directly to Kiroro, which is a discount for hotel guests. Remember to bring your own snow goggles, which are personal items that are only sold but not rented. There are many people in the free skiing courses, so it is more efficient to pay for a coach yourself.
