GGuest UserAfter comparing many B&Bs, I finally chose this one with the highest rating. It was not disappointing. The B&B is located in the alley of the ancient city. It takes less than 2 minutes to walk to the old street along the path guided by the proprietress. It is quiet in the bustling city. The room layout is simple and tidy, the bedding is clean and wrinkle-free, there are warm reminders on the wall of the bathroom, and the stairs are carpeted. Every detail reveals the meticulousness of the boss's management. The boss and his wife are very nice. I couldn't find the address and called her. Soon the couple came to pick up and help carry the box on the battery car. When I left, they enthusiastically sent the box to the bus station. Seeing that the online train tickets were sold out, they enthusiastically helped to buy tickets on site. It really made ”home away from home”!

Cleanliness: Clean and tidy, overall satisfactory.
Environment: Simple, rustic, and comfortable. The courtyard is particularly elegant. Unfortunately, I only stayed one night before leaving for my next stop, so I didn't get to savor the experience.
Service: The front desk lady was very welcoming on arrival, helping me carry my luggage upstairs and offering complimentary fruit and snacks.
The inn is located about 700 to 800 meters outside the ancient city. It takes about 7 to 8 minutes to walk to the east gate. A small, convenient vegetable market is a short distance away, but the inn is easily accessible from the main road. The location is quite convenient. After 10 PM, the streets are quite busy, and the streetlights are well-lit, so it doesn't feel dark or remote. Overall, I highly recommend it.

There is an antique small yard, the room is also antique decoration, although not very exquisite, it is still relatively clean, the service is OK. Going out is the ancient city, next door is three-eyed well, there is 8 yuan small bowl of 10 yuan large bowl of meat residue rice noodles, fried roll powder is better to eat. Walk right for two or three minutes to Zhujia Garden, but it did not meet expectations. The scenery of Shuanglong Bridge is good, so you have to go early. Jianshui's overall consumption is not high, especially drinks. Parking directly navigates the Zhujia Garden parking lot, 5 yuan per time. On the first day, I parked in the temporary parking lot of the Spring Festival, 50 yuan for 14 hours. However, the Zhujia Garden parking lot is very small and may be able to park on the side of the road.

Location : a 5mn walk from the Old city, and from lots of restaurants at night. very easy to find.
Staff : very nice staff! Despite not speaking English, they tried their best to please me. They helped me book a taxi, and talk to the driver. I was disappointed I was not in the building with the garden, and granted me access to the garden part.
Hotel : Congratulations to the designer, who is a VERY talented person. The design, mixing old and new, is absolutely stunning. It respects tradidtions, but with a twist.
the garden is exceptional. having the tea there was one of the highlights of my entire trip.
Rooms : they are super luxurious, huge, with marble bathrooms and Japanese toilets. But a loise of traffic noise from mine.
Only downside : this hotel is made of two buildings, which are on the other side of the street. The fish tank building has this amazing fisthtank, but it located in a VERY noisy street. My bedroom was overlooking the street, it was difficult in the morning. The garden building is super calm in an alley, all the rooms are overlooking this incredible old garden, no noise. I would recommend the owner to clearly indicate in which building the rooms are during the booking to avoid any potential disappointment upon arrival. rooms in the fishtank part are the cheapest.
Overall I was happy with my stay, it's one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed in. But beware of the building you are booking to avoid surprises! I wish I had stayed longer.

The 2 ladies managing the place are so friendly and nice to us. When we arrived, one of the lady gave us steamed sweet potato, an orange and some tea and we stayed for an hour eating with her. They don’t speak English but are incredibly helpful when we were using our translation app.
