GGuest UserI booked Fanqi B&B after reading online reviews. On the morning of the day I submitted the order, I received a call from the store telling me about the nearby parking lot. I arrived at the B&B that night and found that the small front door was a different world from the inside. The four-entry courtyard has a history of a hundred years. The store owner was very enthusiastic and upgraded our room and introduced the historical story of the courtyard. He also provided us with scenic spots and food guides for visiting Jianshui. The room and bathroom were also very clean, the hot water temperature was very high, the breakfast was very rich and provided according to our requirements. The B&B also provided free Hanfu for us to take photos and barbecue around the stove. Traveling off-peak, there are not many tourists. We found the feeling of home in Fanqi, which made us start a pleasant journey

GGuest UserI have always been a bit hesitant to book this kind of old house B&B, fearing poor soundproofing, fear of noise, and fear of small rooms, but Zhuye Xuan completely subverted my concept. GGuest UserFirst, the location is excellent, right across from the tourist train station, so you don't have to worry about catching the train in the morning. The owner can also help you buy train tickets. Second, the facilities are complete and everything you need is provided, and the place is clean. Third, the owner is very welcoming and offers pick-up/drop-off service from the station. They also provide breakfast, and even if it's past lunchtime and they're out of food, the owner will give you a ticket to eat at the restaurant next door (the beef rice noodles there are quite delicious, with a rich broth)... Overall, it's very good, great value for money, highly recommended.

GGuest UserEnvironment: The hotel lobby is not very conspicuous during the day on the first floor, and it looks good under the lights at night. The hotel room is on the third floor and it is safer to punch in the elevator.
The third floor is divided into different yards, there are big salmon in the yard, the morning and evening scenery are good, there is a net red punching the moon on the roof.
Location: Next to the east gate of Chaoyang Building, it is very convenient to go to the ancient city. It is also very close to the small railway station.
Hygienic: The homestay is not bad, and the butler service is warm.
Breakfast: Not many types, rice noodles are delicious

YYigexiaomoI'm a lazy person who rarely writes reviews, but this time I was deeply moved by the owner and his family. Even the cleaning lady was so friendly and lovely. It truly revitalized my solo trip to Jianshui. The hotel is perfectly located, away from the hustle and bustle, yet very close to the train station and the ancient city—just over a hundred meters away. There are many traditional rice noodle shops just outside the door, so you can leisurely fill your stomach before heading out to explore.
When I was going to and from the station, the owner drove a tricycle to the intersection to pick me up, worried about the inconvenience of lugging my luggage, even though it was only a few steps away. In the morning, when they saw me in the room, they asked if I wanted breakfast (my reservation didn't include it). I had already eaten, but the owner insisted on giving me an egg for protein and a box of brown sugar before I left. The ladies said they'd come back next year, and I replied, ”I'll be back in two months!” ❤️
I'm from the north, and this family is so gentle and polite. The entire inn is elegant and grand. The two-story courtyard is surrounded by bougainvillea, where you can swing on the swings, watch the moon, drink tea, and chat—it's so relaxing. The interior is on par with a four-star hotel in the city, with separate wet and dry areas, disposable towels, and brand-new hard and soft furnishings. The air is also very airy. I don't like old, dingy hotels, so this truly felt like home!
Thank you again to the owner for his thoughtful hospitality. He booked me a train ticket in the middle of the night, provided me with food, drinks, and hairbands, and offered travel advice along the way. Please keep driving! I'll be back with friends.

Location: Located in the city, not the ancient city, quiet at night, convenient taxi, to various attractions, about 10 minutes ～ a few good barbecues from the hotel, tried it, it was really good
Facilities: The architectural style combines local characteristics and modern architectural advantages. Quiet, comfortable and soundproof.～ I especially like the simple wooden ～ The way of enclosing fully reflects the advantages of combining nature and architecture. Sitting in the corridor at night can enjoy the moon and the daylight drops. Directly mapped on green plants and sculptures, as if a dynamic painting ～ Before leaving, I took a few sets, and they were exquisite everywhere.

Service: A few girls who had to be in advance, dignified and thoughtful, without losing the temperature, patiently gave suggestions ～ The room is also equipped with handwritten cards, and good night desserts.
For the surrounding construction seen in the previous evaluation, for me who sleeps quietly, it is completely unaffected. ～ Maybe one is the soundproofing of the window, and the other is a certain distance. The other party starts work late.

This stay was a complete surprise! The hotel completely changed my perception of traditional hotels. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt the immense care put into every detail.
In terms of hardware facilities, the modern design of the public areas made me feel very comfortable and sophisticated, with no hint of being outdated. The in-room facilities were very complete and comfortable, especially the mattress – it was just the right firmness with excellent support, allowing me to lie down and relax completely, ensuring a super comfortable night's sleep. The whole environment was decorated very warmly, giving a 'welcome home' feeling as soon as you entered.
The service experience was an even bigger bonus. Every staff member had a kind smile, and their service was incredibly warm and attentive. From check-in to check-out, every step made me feel respected and valued.
Overall, this is a hotel with a beautiful environment and excellent service. I highly recommend it to all travelers seeking quality!

GGuest UserThe last two days of our trip were spent in Jianshui, and the most satisfying experience was definitely staying at the Home Inn Huayi Hotel! The first impression was one of warmth and relaxation. Free laundry service was also provided in the rooms. The breakfast was varied and quite delicious!
Location-wise, it's very convenient to get to the ancient city, Zitao Street, Zhu Family Garden, and other nearby attractions by taxi—all within about 2-3 kilometers!
Being near the highway can be a bit noisy, but choosing a room away from the highway is much better.

GGuest UserThis was my bad for not checking more closely, but this hotel isn't located inside the ancient city. If you were to come from the train station and then take a bus to the ancient city gate, it's a bit of a walk to this hotel. I believe it'd be a good stay for drivers since there's a parking lot, but not for people without cars. Moreover, there is currently really loud construction right outside the hotel that starts early in the morning, so be mindful of that. Otherwise the room itself is fine, pretty spacious and clean.

GGuest UserThe girls at the check-in desk are truly kind and welcoming. Even though none of them speak English, they are very helpful and use a translator device to communicate, which we really appreciated.
The hotel is in a beautiful location, right in front of a small lake, and it also has a terrace where you can enjoy a lovely sunset over the old town.
If you arrive by taxi or Didi, they will drop you off on the main road, and then it’s just a very short walk to the hotel. However, be careful because the hotel name is not easy to recognize, so it’s a good idea to use Google image translator to identify it.
As for the rooms, the more affordable ones are quite basic and could use some updates. Only one side of the bed had electrical outlets, which was a bit inconvenient. The bathroom door was a sliding one that didn’t close properly and felt like it might fall off at any moment. Cleanliness was okay overall, but it could definitely be improved, especially in the shower.
Overall, a nice stay mainly thanks to the location and the kindness of the staff, but the rooms could use some renovation.
