I booked Fanqi B&B after reading online reviews. On the morning of the day I submitted the order, I received a call from the store telling me about the nearby parking lot. I arrived at the B&B that night and found that the small front door was a different world from the inside. The four-entry courtyard has a history of a hundred years. The store owner was very enthusiastic and upgraded our room and introduced the historical story of the courtyard. He also provided us with scenic spots and food guides for visiting Jianshui. The room and bathroom were also very clean, the hot water temperature was very high, the breakfast was very rich and provided according to our requirements. The B&B also provided free Hanfu for us to take photos and barbecue around the stove. Traveling off-peak, there are not many tourists. We found the feeling of home in Fanqi, which made us start a pleasant journey

I have always been a bit hesitant to book this kind of old house B&B, fearing poor soundproofing, fear of noise, and fear of small rooms, but Zhuye Xuan completely subverted my concept. It is delicious, delicious, and comfortable to live in. Living here is cultural. The hotel boasts a prime location, right next to the small train station and not far from Jianshui Ancient City—about an 8-minute walk! It's a newly opened hotel, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The double beds are quite large, and the mattresses and bedding are comfortable. The shower in the bathroom has strong water pressure, making showering comfortable. The breakfast selection isn't extensive, but the portions are generous and filling! They even have local specialty rice noodles! The owner is incredibly welcoming; they not only upgraded our room but also helped us book our train tickets and suggested tourist attractions! We are very grateful! There are plenty of parking spaces, making it convenient for tourists traveling by car!

Facilities: The room layout is reasonable and unique. I really liked the color scheme of the TV cabinet and the small square tiles on the floor. However, the room faced a gym (I'm not sure if it belonged to the hotel or a neighboring residential complex), so I had to keep the curtains drawn the whole time. Also, the water temperature in the bathroom was unstable, and the toilet flush wasn't strong enough. The hotel restaurant was too small; when there were many guests, we had to sit outside, which was inconvenient during the rainy season. The canopy over the lobby entrance was small, and it was pouring rain on the day we arrived. Even though the car was parked right at the entrance, we still got wet. The photo spots in the hotel were very unique, but the lighting was dim, so the photos didn't turn out well. The overall style of the hotel was dimly lit, and walking down the hallways felt a bit eerie. Cleanliness: Good, housekeeping was prompt. Environment: It's next to a residential complex, so taxis usually only stop by the roadside, not directly at the hotel entrance, which is inconvenient on rainy days. However, the hotel is close to various attractions, and taxis in Jianshui are inexpensive. Service: Full marks for service; all staff members were very enthusiastic. The welcome letter in the room was a nice touch. Jianshui Station pick-up/drop-off service (choose one): Just book a day in advance, very convenient. Buffet lunch, afternoon tea: The hotel offering four meals a day was very convenient, especially for families with kids, as you could return to the hotel to eat anytime.

I'm a lazy person who rarely writes reviews, but this time I was deeply moved by the owner and his family. Even the cleaning lady was so friendly and lovely. It truly revitalized my solo trip to Jianshui. The hotel is perfectly located, away from the hustle and bustle, yet very close to the train station and the ancient city—just over a hundred meters away. There are many traditional rice noodle shops just outside the door, so you can leisurely fill your stomach before heading out to explore. When I was going to and from the station, the owner drove a tricycle to the intersection to pick me up, worried about the inconvenience of lugging my luggage, even though it was only a few steps away. In the morning, when they saw me in the room, they asked if I wanted breakfast (my reservation didn't include it). I had already eaten, but the owner insisted on giving me an egg for protein and a box of brown sugar before I left. The ladies said they'd come back next year, and I replied, ”I'll be back in two months!” ❤️ I'm from the north, and this family is so gentle and polite. The entire inn is elegant and grand. The two-story courtyard is surrounded by bougainvillea, where you can swing on the swings, watch the moon, drink tea, and chat—it's so relaxing. The interior is on par with a four-star hotel in the city, with separate wet and dry areas, disposable towels, and brand-new hard and soft furnishings. The air is also very airy. I don't like old, dingy hotels, so this truly felt like home! Thank you again to the owner for his thoughtful hospitality. He booked me a train ticket in the middle of the night, provided me with food, drinks, and hairbands, and offered travel advice along the way. Please keep driving! I'll be back with friends. Quiet, comfortable and soundproof.～ I especially like the simple wooden ～ The way of enclosing fully reflects the advantages of combining nature and architecture. Sitting in the corridor at night can enjoy the moon and the daylight drops. Directly mapped on green plants and sculptures, as if a dynamic painting ～ Before leaving, I took a few sets, and they were exquisite everywhere. Rooms Facilities: The room has bedroom, study, oversized bathroom double washbasin, plus bathtub, and Toto bathroom, smart toilet, plus Dyson hair dryer Service: A few girls who had to be in advance, dignified and thoughtful, without losing the temperature, patiently gave suggestions ～ The room is also equipped with handwritten cards, and good night desserts. For the surrounding construction seen in the previous evaluation, for me who sleeps quietly, it is completely unaffected. ～ Maybe one is the soundproofing of the window, and the other is a certain distance. The other party starts work late.

Ambiance: The hotel boasts pavilions, terraces, and carps swimming happily, with a strong ancient aesthetic that's incredibly photogenic. They even offer free traditional costume rentals! The public areas feature free water dispensers, a laundry room, the Orchid Pavilion tea room, fitness facilities, and complimentary massage chairs 👍. Room: The rooms are very spacious with comfortable bedding, and the hot water is excellent. We even got a room upgrade during the off-peak season! Service: The staff are all incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful, making you feel completely at home. Overall, highly recommended!

A truly delightful stay! This stay was a complete surprise! The hotel completely changed my perception of traditional hotels. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt the immense care put into every detail. In terms of hardware facilities, the modern design of the public areas made me feel very comfortable and sophisticated, with no hint of being outdated. The in-room facilities were very complete and comfortable, especially the mattress – it was just the right firmness with excellent support, allowing me to lie down and relax completely, ensuring a super comfortable night's sleep. The whole environment was decorated very warmly, giving a 'welcome home' feeling as soon as you entered. The service experience was an even bigger bonus. Every staff member had a kind smile, and their service was incredibly warm and attentive. From check-in to check-out, every step made me feel respected and valued. Overall, this is a hotel with a beautiful environment and excellent service. I highly recommend it to all travelers seeking quality!

This hotel is conveniently located within the Jianshui ancient town, with lots of restaurants, shopping and coffee shops located within a short walk. The room is nice and cozy, nicely finished including a small fridge for your convenience! It also includes free self service laundry, but w/o a dryer as they provide amber cloth racks outside the rooms in a terrace setting accessible only for the guests! I would certainly book this place again in my future trip!

I discovered a hidden gem of a new hotel in Jianshui! It's newly opened and there's absolutely no renovation smell. The lobby and public areas are elegantly designed, the rooms are spacious and bright, and all the facilities are brand new, including a smart toilet and high-speed Wi-Fi. The cleanliness is impeccable; there's no dust in the corners, the bedding is spotless, and the bathroom has a separate shower and toilet area, making it incredibly dry. There's ample free parking, making parking a breeze if you're driving. The rooms are excellently soundproofed, so it's quiet enough to sleep soundly through the night. The front desk staff are very friendly and quick with check-in and check-out. They even proactively shared Jianshui travel tips and upgraded me to a twin room with a projector. Excellent value for money! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Jianshui, and I've already recommended it to my friends!
