"An unexpectedly wonderful experience. I truly felt a sense of warmth during my trip.
Originally, I just booked this hotel for an early flight the next day. I never imagined that every staff member would work so diligently to ensure guests' comfort. Regardless of whether it was their direct responsibility, they genuinely went out of their way to think of the guests. Leaving Daocheng in the cold winter, my heart was filled with the warmth of human kindness.
On the first floor, there's a professional, complimentary oxygen bar, and the in-room oxygen diffusion system can reduce the effective altitude by over a thousand meters, allowing for a great night's sleep. The underfloor heating was powerful, and the room didn't feel too dry. Anyone who's experienced high altitudes will understand how valuable this is.
The hotel prepared an abundance of fruits and snacks to combat altitude sickness, and Rhodiola oral solutions were placed at the elevator entrances for guests to take. They even offered late-night desserts, and the noodles and fresh vegetable juice at breakfast were absolutely outstanding. I'd long grown indifferent to breakfast at international five-star chain hotels, but I was genuinely impressed by the breakfast at this county town hotel.
I also want to give a special thanks to the kind Brother Dorje. He truly wore many hats; from the moment we arrived, he was busy helping and hosting us, and the next day, we discovered he was also our airport shuttle driver. While his Mandarin accent wasn't always easy to understand, we particularly enjoyed chatting with him and listening to his stories about the ******* areas. Isn't finding these bright spots along the way the very meaning of travel?"

"Absolutely loved it! The owner is incredibly kind and friendly. They offer free ******* traditional clothing for guests to borrow, and it's all so well-maintained, clean, and tidy.
We even got to see the 'Sun-drenched Golden Mountain' right from the hotel, and the rooftop access means you can go up and admire it anytime – truly breathtaking.
The room came with a free oxygen concentrator, and there's a diffused oxygen supply available for a fee. Plus, on the ground floor, the owner has their own medical oxygen concentrator for refills.
Don't miss the owner's yak hotpot and boiled sliced pork – absolutely delicious and highly recommended.
Staying in Yading Village means you can enter the scenic area whenever you like, without having to take an hour-long bus ride every day. You can wake up naturally and head into the mountains at your own pace, which is incredibly chill.
The guesthouse is conveniently located next to Yading Station 1 and not far from Station 2. The owner can even help with luggage, either sending it to the bus or bringing it down for you, saving a lot of time.
Highly recommended! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit the mountains."

"We stayed here for 2 night to explore Yading Nature Reserve. Overall a great place to stay.
+ The room floor was not too cold, the hot shower was working fine and strong, there is also a humidifier.
+ 5-minute walk to the Yading service center where you buy tickets and board the bus
+ Several supermarket and stores nearby (but didn't see a lot of restaurant options)

"This time, I chose the Oxygen Dew Bath Qushang Room in the Muhua Building, and the experience completely exceeded my expectations!
The best part was the indoor hot spring! The weather on the plateau can change quickly, so it was a true pleasure to soak in a warm bath in the warmth of the room, washing away the fatigue of a day's hike without having to go outside in the draft.
The room was very spacious, and the decor was my favorite minimalist style with soft colors, making it incredibly relaxing.
Of course, the oxygen system was also very effective, and I slept soundly after my bath, completely free of any altitude sickness.
The entire floor was incredibly quiet and private.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and quiet stay in Daocheng Yading!"

"This hotel in Yading Village offers incredible value for money, with direct views of Mount Xianairi, even better than those from Songtsam! The owner even upgraded us to the best view room on the third floor 🌄. The butler helped with our luggage. I'll definitely bring my friends here next time.
The accommodation is excellent, the oxygen concentrator works wonderfully, it's sparkling clean 🫧, and there's even a bathtub 🛀. After a day of hiking, returning to the hotel felt like a complete rejuvenation!
This hotel is tailor-made for photographers 📸. In the morning, you can fly your drone directly from the terrace to Luorong Cattle Farm to capture the 'golden mountains' sunrise over the three sacred peaks!

"I stayed a total of 3 nights here, 2 nights before going to Yading and 1 night after relaxing. The couple owners are very lovely and very enthusiastic, they help us a lot. They even kept the room we stayed in before, left our luggage in it, and it was neatly cleaned when we returned from Yading. They helped us contact the driver, airport pick up and drop off, and from the hotel to Yading early in the morning. Ask them anything, and they would be very helpful. They showed us a very good yak beef hot pot restaurant too haha"

"The room is clean and hygienic, and the most important thing is the service. There is someone to serve you 24 hours a day, and there is a special gas supply service. "The owners are a very open and sincere ******* couple. The couple just contracted the hotel last month (the slippers used for bathing are all new). The negative reviews from the previous stay probably have little to do with the current owners.
The overall environment of the hotel is the same as the product details page. The aisles and corridors are very spacious. I am not trying to ”deceive”. I only include some detailed pictures. These were the best two nights of sleep during my trip to western Sichuan.
The advantages are as follows:
1. It is only a 5-minute walk from the entrance of the scenic spot. Parking is convenient and close to the road. However, the room does not face the road, so it is quiet and convenient.
2. The hotel has a place to dry clothes (although it is not dedicated, it can block the rain), which is great news for people who cannot dry their clothes during long-term travel. After all, don’t worry about the public washing machine and dryer.
3. The room has a table, chairs, and clothes racks, plenty of hot water, and a normal toilet. Especially their hair dryer, it turns on and off automatically (it turns on when you pick it up, and turns off when you put it back)
4. Very attentive and distinctive. The kettles are all ceramic! There is a multi-plug adapter thoughtfully installed on the socket (so I didn’t even use the one I brought)."

KKting844Absolutely wonderful homestay and hostess! I was travelling alone and suffered some altitude sickness and the hostess was so kind. She organised the oxygen machine so I could sleep and recover from the sickness. I stayed 2 nights originally and loved it so much i went back later and stayed another night.The rooms are extremely comfortable, great hot water pressure, excellent heating. The hostess speaks excellent English and also can organise carpooling with taxis to reach Yading. I highly recommend to anyone travelling to Daocheng.

AAnonymous UserBest stay in Western Sichuan, located within the daocheng yading park (second stop, 2 mins walk from the bus stop). Very clean comfortable rooms with extremely hot showers, amenities included. Excellent view (highly recommend getting the snow mountain view room). Staff and owners are really kind and helpful. They’ll explain which routes to go if you are hiking up. They do provide electric blankets, didn’t use the electric heater but it is available for colder months. They have their own restaurant which is very convenient and food was delicious! Simple Chinese breakfast included would have liked to have been able to take some food away to eat along the way as wanted to start the hike earlier could consider asking the staff is this would be possible. Do keep in mind the shuttle bus going up to the scenic site can be quite full so do plan ahead. Would definitely stay here again if I ever come back.

We arrived at ฺBus Stop 2 and the hotel staff came out to help us with our bags — plus we were warmly greeted by an adorable dog!
We chose a triple room, and the space was comfortable and sufficient for everyone. Our room faced the front with a beautiful mountain view.
The beds also had electric mattress warmers, which made our sleep very cozy.
Breakfast was good, and the stir-fried vegetables were delicious.
They also provide hiking poles that guests can borrow.

GGuomimituanThis hotel was unremarkable and slightly below expectations. The lounge was closed, but a complimentary buffet dinner was provided. However, the dinner was inferior to the lounge's in some aspects; surprisingly, there was no juice, and the other dishes were unremarkable. The breakfast the next day was the same, with no noodle station and some dishes identical to the previous day's dinner. The female receptionist lacked a standard welcome greeting and seemed unclear about member benefits; the welcome drink was only provided upon request, and the welcome fruit was never seen until check-out. The welcome card even had the name misspelled. One male receptionist was commendable for being quite helpful, providing useful information and even lending me nail clippers. Overall, it was below expectations.

It’s conveniently situated right next to Bus Stop No. 3.
On our way there, we asked the hotel staff to help pick up our luggage when the bus stopped at Stop 3, so we could continue walking the shorter route. The staff were very kind, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay — always ready to help with anything we needed. They even came to see us off when we took the bus back.
Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Yading!

GGuest UserThe location of the HomeStay is excellent. It is located at the end of the street of a quieter corner away from the busy street.
Just a short walk you will have access to many eateries and shops.
The interior decoration is uniquely furnished with ******* style design transporting us into a real local ******* family home without the need to be physically in Tibet.
The Owner of the HomeStay is very friendly and helpful. He introduced us to ******* culture and explained the significance of Animals painting on the wall and how it translates into daily life. Animals consisted of Elephant, Monkey, Rabbit and Bird.
He also made us their fragrance 酥油茶 suyou cha which is good to counter Altitude sickness 高反。
Cat is also a sacred animal in ******* culture.
The price of the HomeStay is very reasonable with the excellent location and service. It has free laundry service, however you need to hang them dry in an outdoor clothes line. It will dry quickly as the weather is very dry/sunny.
I would highly recommend this HomeStay to everyone who likes to go to Daocheng Yading.
Lastly, I would like to thank the Owner and his Sister for making our stay an enjoyable one.

The location is fantastic, with easy access to Yading National Park, making it the ideal base for exploring. The pricing is reasonable, and the hospitality of the host was outstanding. LLaurentontherunRight in the center of Xiangelila town, 2min walk from supermarkets restaurants and even a Dicos! It's right on the road that will take you straight to the main entrance to Yading Scenic Area (about 6km, taxi 40RMB or 10RMB per person if carpooling). During check-in the nice ******* lady at reception upgraded my room at no extra cost. Place is clean above usual Chinese standards. If you want a heater is 5RMB per night, but the electric blanket was sufficient. Water is warm, but not scalding (personally I only take showers at +45 degrees, but it was enough to wash my face without discomfort). I was very happy with my stay so next morning I booked another night, rather than staying in Yading town. When I returned very late at night, and owing to my pickiness when it comes to food, the lady at the desk made me quick and delicious fried rice and wouldn't accept my money no matter how many times I offered. I would have stayed another night if I didn't have to leave next morning. Thanks for everything, I'll be back one day!
