"Our stay at Heyuan Xiangfeng International Hotel was a happy accident. We were driving from Zhaoqing to Shantou, which is quite a long journey, so we decided to break it up with an overnight stay in a city somewhere in the middle. I just picked a hotel near the river from the map. Once we checked in, we were really impressed. The hotel is definitely older, but you can still see its former glory, and they've maintained their unique character through meticulous details and management. The cleanliness of the entire hotel was astonishing. The small hand towels in the bathroom were individually packaged in plastic after being disinfected, and there wasn't a single black spot on any of the silicone in the corners. Even though the furniture and decor are dated, everything was spotless. The staff, from front desk to housekeeping, were all incredibly polite, on par with what you'd expect at a luxury hotel. The hotel management has clearly put a lot of effort into this aspect."

"Great location, very clean lobby and room, friendly staff. The only gripe I have is smoking is somewhat allowed. The initial room I was given smelled strongly of cigarette. However front desk staff quickly help changed a room, which still has a tinge of cigarette smell but was much better. The bar fridge is switched on only when needed. But when I open the fridge, the super strong cigarette smell came out and hit me instantly. There are also guests who smoke at the walkway and at lift lobby. This alone is bad. Everything else is great, no complaints."

At the restaurant, David, May, the manager Leo, and all the staffs are impeccable. The room is clean, new, good smells, perfect cleaning in all the hotel. Our family are so happy with the treatment. Breakfast delicious and also dinner buffet with so fresh meat and all. We extended 2 days more just because of all the things and the people kindness that the Hotel can offer. We gonna be back in this Hotel for sure and indicate all our friends. Thank you all for everything and perfect treatment."

"The Western-style buffet dinner here really exceeded expectations! In the seafood section, the thick-cut salmon was incredibly fresh and melted in your mouth, and the oysters and scallops were plump and fresh. The freshly grilled steak and lamb chops were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, bursting with juice. The pizza and pasta had authentic flavors, and the desserts were exquisite and not overly sweet. The environment was elegant and stylish, with perfect mood lighting. The staff were prompt in clearing plates and very enthusiastic, and the dishes were refilled quickly. The entire dining experience was excellent, and it offered great value for money!"

"Just a 10-minute drive from Wanlv Lake and the tallest fountain, this hotel is super convenient if you're driving yourself. The hotel itself is pretty standard. It says 'Accor' outside, but honestly, the decor doesn't quite live up to Accor's usual standards, in my opinion, haha. However, the cleanliness is excellent – everything is spotless, and I really liked that the shower and toilet areas are separate. The hot springs have a good variety of pools to choose from; for an in-house hotel facility, it's really impressive. Breakfast was also very generous, and aside from the milk not being great, everything else was quite good. For the price, it offers incredible value for money. I'd definitely stay here again when I go to Heyuan."

"The room was clean and tidy, and there was fruit for check-in. I arrived late on the first day, but they gave me instant noodles. On the second day, they gave me milk after the room was cleaned. The hotel's breakfast and gym are very good."

It is very convenient to take a taxi from the famous tourist attraction Wanlv Lake, Asia's first fountain, and the most worth recommending is the 2nd floor of the hotel, which is Jinshawan Restaurant. All snacks for morning tea 9.8 yuan, the quality is very good."

"I have stayed at Hampton Inn so many times. This Hampton Inn in Heyuan is the one with the best and most considerate service attitude I have ever seen. Especially when I checked in, the front desk staff was a little girl wearing glasses. Her smile was really healing. The service attitude was also very good.
