"Our stay at Heyuan Xiangfeng International Hotel was a happy accident. We were driving from Zhaoqing to Shantou, which is quite a long journey, so we decided to break it up with an overnight stay in a city somewhere in the middle. I just picked a hotel near the river from the map. Once we checked in, we were really impressed. The hotel is definitely older, but you can still see its former glory, and they've maintained their unique character through meticulous details and management. The cleanliness of the entire hotel was astonishing. The small hand towels in the bathroom were individually packaged in plastic after being disinfected, and there wasn't a single black spot on any of the silicone in the corners. Even though the furniture and decor are dated, everything was spotless. The staff, from front desk to housekeeping, were all incredibly polite, on par with what you'd expect at a luxury hotel. The hotel management has clearly put a lot of effort into this aspect."

"The front desk of the hotel is very friendly. The Dinosaur Museum is a few minutes walk from the hotel. It is very close. It is very fast to the first fountain. The taxi is also very fast. The room is renovated and the price is super high. The view is facing the riverside. The view of the river is very healing. The most praiseworthy is the hotel's restaurant restaurant. "The service at this hotel was exceptional. The front desk staff, especially Susie who added me on WeChat, were incredibly warm, welcoming, and patient – that's what truly made our stay special. New, brand hotel, good management, good value for money, clean, large and comfortable rooms, I don’t want to soak in the hot springs, so I didn’t pick a room with a hot spring package, but I only bought a 1-person package for 40. The beauty at the front desk is warm and courteous, with a smile on her face. The lobby registration counter also has a prominent tableboard for guests to put some small items when checking in. The room is large, clean, comfortable bedding, there is enough place to hang clothes, dry and wet separation, shower room is big enough, breakfast room is big, food can be, This is the brand, design, management office can give guests, compared with some 3-star new hotels, laundry room, lobby drinks supply, etc., it is still much higher. The parking lot and charging village are also in front of the hotel, which is super good for self-driving. Please continue to work hard to maintain and maintain, I will come again in the future 😊"

"The hotel service was excellent. There was a minor issue when I first checked in, but it was addressed immediately, no big deal. The dinosaur theme is fantastic, especially the cute wall art. The air conditioning in the room was already on when I arrived, a true savior in the scorching summer heat. The cleaning staff also left a thoughtful welcome display: towel animals and flowers, and the one on top was a real flower – so beautiful! You could really see their dedication. Upon check-in, we received souvenir keychains of a T-Rex and a pony (I only photographed the T-Rex). It's a small gift, but my little boy at home loved it and was so happy. There's a great variety of activities. The water park stops admission at 6 PM and closes at 6:30 PM; kids who don't want to leave eventually have to, hahahaha. The water curtain show is at 8 PM, the bonfire at 8:30 PM, and the fireworks show at 9 PM. The fireworks show was quite short, without a clear theme, almost like someone was just setting them off casually at home; it ended in about 3 minutes. Basically, you don't have to rush or wait too long for anything; the schedule is very well organized."
