"Our stay at Heyuan Xiangfeng International Hotel was a happy accident. We were driving from Zhaoqing to Shantou, which is quite a long journey, so we decided to break it up with an overnight stay in a city somewhere in the middle. I just picked a hotel near the river from the map. Once we checked in, we were really impressed. The hotel is definitely older, but you can still see its former glory, and they've maintained their unique character through meticulous details and management. The cleanliness of the entire hotel was astonishing. The small hand towels in the bathroom were individually packaged in plastic after being disinfected, and there wasn't a single black spot on any of the silicone in the corners. Even though the furniture and decor are dated, everything was spotless. The staff, from front desk to housekeeping, were all incredibly polite, on par with what you'd expect at a luxury hotel. The hotel management has clearly put a lot of effort into this aspect."

"The room was very clean, and the dinosaur theme was thoroughly integrated, covering small items like toothbrushes and cups. Staff member Xiao Wei was incredibly thoughtful. From check-in, she was patient, detailed, and attentive throughout our stay, even bringing dinosaur gifts, an extra breakfast voucher, fruit, an additional blanket, and water. The service was exceptional, making us feel right at home. We also enjoyed the evening bonfire party, fireworks, dancing, and interactions – a surprisingly joyful atmosphere. During the day, we took the kids to the Dinosaur Bone Park, which had great facilities that kept them entertained for half the day. Overall, the Dinosaur Hot Spring Hotel offered an excellent experience and is definitely worth visiting with children."

"The room was clean and tidy, and there was fruit for check-in. I arrived late on the first day, but they gave me instant noodles. On the second day, they gave me milk after the room was cleaned. The hotel's breakfast and gym are very good."

At the restaurant, David, May, the manager Leo, and all the staffs are impeccable. The room is clean, new, good smells, perfect cleaning in all the hotel. Our family are so happy with the treatment. Breakfast delicious and also dinner buffet with so fresh meat and all. We extended 2 days more just because of all the things and the people kindness that the Hotel can offer. "Great location, very clean lobby and room, friendly staff. The only gripe I have is smoking is somewhat allowed. The initial room I was given smelled strongly of cigarette. However front desk staff quickly help changed a room, which still has a tinge of cigarette smell but was much better. The bar fridge is switched on only when needed. But when I open the fridge, the super strong cigarette smell came out and hit me instantly. There are also guests who smoke at the walkway and at lift lobby. This alone is bad. Everything else is great, no complaints."
