Guest UserWe totally enjoyed our stay in Cloitre des Augustins in Avignon! We had 2 rooms and stayed for 6 nights with family. Rooms are clean, spacious and stylishly furnished. Air conditioning is perfect and with all utensils for making meals. The location is wonderful with lots of cafes, supermarkets and shops nearby. Also walkable to all major attractions such as the Pont d’Avignon (the broken bridge) and Palais de Papes. About 15 minutes walk to Avignon Centre train station which is a bonus if you plan to travel to nearby towns like Arles or Nimes by train. Convenient location and nice rooms. Besides, the host Patrick and his wife are helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended

The room is located in a quiet alley. It is easy to walk through because it is not the hotel you imagine. The door is quite small. It is a converted residential building. The room is fully equipped and very convenient in the ancient city. The handsome guy provided good service and helped with parking. He drove the car to the door early in the morning. The service was thoughtful and it was a perfect experience!

A**Weng's rare extreme hot day, under the big sun, snorting a soak of urine, dead and alive can not open the door, around the building and yard, did not see how to enter. The store phone on Trip.com is French voice, just understand a sentence, please dial 5 for English messages. I called several times and no one answered. Fortunately, a car came out and followed it in. There was no one at the front desk. A guy in the public office received me and was very enthusiastic. I said that the phone could not get through, and I called in person. He said that it was fine to dial 1-4, no 5, and it collapsed. After completing the formalities, the guy enthusiastically helped me introduce the apartment environment, saying that it was not a hotel, there was no hotel service, and the first floor was pure water. I have to take me to the room to see... The anxious person remembered the same anxious person in the car outside, declined, hurriedly parked the car, returned to the room, solved the round, did not see the bed, was shocked, thought to sleep on the sofa. As a result, the cabinet door was opened, and there was a big bed inside. This design was really crashing. The first night was very quiet, the second night was attacked by mosquitoes, and I woke up in the middle of the night to fight mosquitoes, only to find mosquito bodies on the wall. I was bitten by 6 bags, and the other was bitten by countless. The bag on my finger was finally connected to a white line, looking scary.
Stayed for two nights and no cleaning service. There is no living supermarket within walking distance. Fortunately, we purchased food from the last hotel and brought it with ice bags. The induction cooker is not enough, half fried and half stewed, and it can be considered to be able to eat. There is no serious kitchen knife and silicone shovel. The two men ran to the first floor for a meal, and finally gathered together the kitchen utensils and played pure water. The tap water can't be drunk when it boils, it's all water alkali
The advantage is that parking is free and there are plenty of parking spaces. Closed management, there is a security brother on duty at night, full of security. There is also a cheap price.
The day I came, I was roasted by fire, I was watered by the rain, I was shaking in my shorts, I was shaking, goodbye, Ah **

The room is small but well equipped.
It even comes with a coffee machine.
The location is excellent, parking is paid separately and acceptable. It seems to be 15 euros a day. But if you enter the garage and drive out later, you have to pay the parking fee separately, calculated according to the hour.

hlledgEverything was pretty good. It's right next to the train station, and there's a bus stop downstairs (you can take the 707 to Van Gogh's asylum in Saint-Rémy). It's also quite close to attractions, making it very convenient to get around. However, why was I charged the city tax twice? The first time, after I paid, the money was deducted, but then they said the system hadn't received it and told me to check the next day if I needed to pay again. The next day, they still said they hadn't received it, so I paid a second time. I was inexplicably charged twice. Even though the city tax is only €1.76, it made me feel very uncomfortable, as if I was trying to avoid paying it. This is the first time I've ever been charged twice for a single person. Luckily, the room environment was good. I'd advise everyone to pay the city tax in cash and keep the receipt to avoid them saying they haven't received it again 😅

XieyibingThe hotel is close to the high-speed rail station and a 40-minute drive from Arles.
A Carrefour supermarket is a 5-minute drive away.
The rooms are quiet and clean, with a kitchenette for simple cooking.
Purified water and sparkling water are available on the first floor of the hotel. There is public parking in the back.

Guest UserThe location is fantastic, right next to the central train station. The city gate is directly opposite the station, making travel incredibly convenient. I debated whether to stay inside or outside the city walls, and now I feel staying outside was the smart choice.
The hotel room is very spacious, easily accommodating a family of three. This time it was just my mother and I, so we had plenty of room.
The only minor drawback was that the showerhead was a bit old and didn't have great water pressure, and the water temperature wasn't very stable.

The receptionist was rude and not hospitable, couldn't find our booking, wanted to charge us twice, said we couldn't park at the parkimg as a reservation was required even though on trip.com it was explicity written no reservation for parking required and the toilet door was broken, found some stuff from previous client in the bathroom as well. The pool is very nice though

Anonymous UserThe sheets were only clean cuz they outsourced the cleaning to another company who does the job well. For this price, you need to put your own sheets and set up your own bed, AND still have to send it downstairs (didn’t seem mandatory but encouraged). My ceiling walls were peeling, my bunk bed frame made of cold metal, and the tap was hard to control — water kept flowing out even if we pressed the knob lightly. I slept well on the first night but on the second, homeless people were screaming and harassing a girl, woke my roommates up and we weren’t sure if we should call the police. You’re better off another hostel. Breakfast variety was ok.

Small room, which was probably dependent on the type of room booked, the description was so drastic but not to draw where practically only bed took the room and between bed and wall at the foot you just passed through. No cups or glasses in the room, the pipe water (no bottle of water for the guest) had to be taken directly from the hand! at the washing basin. The bathroom was clean and completely OK. But the wacky door to the room was unappetitely old-flecky. The lift was terribly old and you were afraid to stay sticked. The breakfast room was very nice, but when 2 more guests came to us, they had to set up new coffee for them because the cane was empty, which took, also the few plates of salami and cheese had almost eaten from us - the poor guests after us. The evening before we wanted to take dinner in this moodful room, which wasn't going, just in another restaurant room (also ok, but not so beautiful), but the next evening we saw guests at the big beautiful fireplace in the “breaking room” eat there.. I find that without explanation a bad service. in the early evening.
Because of the lift and lack of comfort in the room, I would book somewhere else at the next trip despite the location directly at the Pope Palace.
