The loch & River which are often busy with maritime traffic including submarines, merchant ships and cruise liners.The village Post Office for almost 100 years, this ground floor property was tastefully re-modelled as a studio apartment for couples or single travellers. It has been a popular & well reviewed let for over 10 years.With the space designed to provide comfortable accommodation for a relaxing holiday, to the front of the property is the bright and airy living / sleeping area.Furnished with 2 reclining swivel easy chairs, a wardrobe, a wooden dining table & chairs with padded seats. The double bed has a comfortable Silent Night mattress, with a top of the range Simba Hybrid mattress topper. This innovative Simba product has 4 layers including cooling memory foam & 2500 springs. In the summer the world’s last sea going paddle steamer the ‘Waverley’ calls to pick up passengers for a sail down the Loch.On the edge of the village a local farm provides activities such as quad biking and archery. Also in the heart of the village, the family run ‘The Blairmore’ eatery serves hearty Scottish Breakfasts, quality meals with locally sourced produce as well as delicious coffee & homemade cakes. They also have a wee shop with quality gifts & some ‘deli’ gifts for foodies.Lots of adventures into the hills,  or level walks along the shore start right outside the front door. Within walking distance in the neighbouring village of Strone is a great pub, golf course & tea shop.The village has an hourly bus service to the seaside town Dunoon, on the way passing local attractions such as Kilmun Arboretum, Kilmun Mausoleum, and Benmore Botanical Gardens.
