Hook Hotels with Wifi

"Booked on the recommendation of a family member , 1st room on the ground floor was small, cold and had a broken window handle leaving the room unsecured.  We said to the reception staff who asked if we wanted moved , we moved to an ”upgraded” room on the top floor which was far better, as we were staying for 3 nights we welcomed the move.  Can’t comment on the leisure pool as we didn’t use it, given that we had paid for 3 night’s accommodation I don’t see why I would have to pay to use the pool and use towels!  Bar was ok but at times you have to wait for someone to come and serve, the bar also closed at 11pm regardless if you are staying or not. No automatic room service you have to ask for the room to be cleaned and fresh towels etc.  Many other hotels in the area so don’t think we would return"

"What a beautiful hotel in beautiful setting. We had a spacious room with a lovely big bed and separate bath with over shower. Bottle of water in the room and kettle with coffee and tea sachets. Hotel provides toiletries. We had pre booked breakfast which was a buffet and very nice. All in all a good stay"

"We stayed here for one night while enjoying some entertainment in a nearby hotel (they didn't have space so this seemed our best option).The room itself was actually very smart, clean and large enough. The bathroom too was very clean and well equipped. Our one minor gripe was breakfast. The room included Full English Breakfast, but due to 'Covid reasons' they were unable to supply this. I don't really understand this and think that 'Covid reason' is often a catch all reasoning. If dinner can be prepared and served then why can warm breakfast not be? Apart from the breakfast gripe - it was a very pleasant stay and we would stay again."

"A brilliant discovery. We booked and paid for a nearby hotel via another .com only to be let down. We arrived at this hotel and were blown away with the grounds and wildlife having travelling from Cornwall. We were shown to our room, which was very tasteful and comfortably furnished. The staff and management were very approachable and could not do enough for us. We will be back."
