"The location of the hotel was great, just a short 5 mins walk from the Habourbay Terminal. However, was rather disappointed by the service and facilities. (1) Room had a weird stale, musty smell when we first checked in to our room, but the smell eventually went away after 2-3h with aircon circulation. It was bearable but we could really use an air freshener. (2) We were not informed that the gym/pool had opening or closing times. There were also no signs indicating as such. When we tried to visit the gym at around 10pm, everything was already closed. (3) On the amenities, we had to make repeated checks receptionist that we can get a shaving razor and instant coffee. At first, the housekeeping didn't understand what we wanted. The first receptionist at the front desk simply just tried to waive us away by saying they are not available. It was only after we approached a second receptionist did they finally understood and brought it out for us. The shower gel also ran out after the first night and housekeeping did not refill it despite cleaning the room in the day. (4) The hotel spa, despite saying they were open for 24h and that a reservation was required, repeatedly told us to go to their counter at the 4th floor to check on availability. We went there and checked at least 6 times during our 3D2N stay and each time, we were told that there was no immediate availability but to come back at a later time instead. They also turned us away when we tried to make an advance booking. They could have saved time for everyone by just saying there was no availability and reservations were unavailable instead of asking us to come back every now and then. Overall, the service level was very disappointing for a 4-star hotel. There are better and cheaper hotel options around the Harbourbay area."

"Location near to foodery and NAGOYA shopping mall. Good service from the restaurant especially during breakfast. Security to room access for outsiders is strictly controlled by receptionist which is good. Only disappointment was the rooftop bar was closed due to some renovation, otherwise its Generally good for one or two nights stay"

"What a great time we had. Me and my husband enjoy our night in zest with warm and nice staff. Great location and we do enjoy our morning walk in Harbour Bay Will be back on"

"The hotel seems dated, but has a vintage feel to it with a grandfather clock in the lobby. Location is quite good, near many malls and amenities. Shampoo and shower gel not the best, no lotion or shower robe provided. Housekeeping responses quite fast. Breakfast was okay, decent variety, not much processed proteins, have good choice of fruits. Swimming pool water looks green and cloudy, gym has good number of equipment, but also dated, which can appeal to some especially with having iron plates. Gym is indoors but not air conditioned."

"Value for money. Cleanliness needs to improve a bit on the floor sweeping. Some mosquito found in the room. Same. My friends on another room also faced mosquitos issue. But it's not a lot. Just a few. But it's important to improve on this."

"Need to upgrade the room . I got a leve 4 room which had some issues with door which the door cannot close properly . Wall need to be repainted and the woodwork need to fix and flooring need to clean up. And lightings need to change. Apparently this hotel needs an upgrade . But the only things is Service is good and sky lounge at roof top is nice due the view."

There are plenty of restaurants and food options nearby. A Morning Bakery is just a 5-minute walk away, perfect for an authentic local breakfast experience. The rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. The unique cruise ship theme adds charm and provides several great Instagram-worthy photo spots. The hotel also features a pleasant swimming pool, and massage services are available at rates more affordable than many external spas. Staff are friendly, attentive, and always ready to help."

"This is a pleasant hotel located near Harbour Bay, although it is not within comfortable walking distance. The food and service were both very good. A special mention goes to the chef preparing the fried noodles—they were outstanding, and I would happily return just to enjoy that dish again. The guest room was comfortable, but the furniture showed noticeable signs of wear and would benefit from refurbishment or replacement. The swimming pool access felt a little unusual, as the entrance is located next to the restaurant, while the changing rooms are quite a distance away, making it less convenient for guests. The gym is spacious, which is a great feature. However, many of the machines were out of order, so maintaining or replacing the equipment would significantly improve the fitness facilities."

"SERVICE WAS SUPERB - booked this short trip to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the team really went ABOVE AND BEYOND. We arrived slightly earlier than check in time and were prepared to wait but right from the getgo, Ayu who checked us in - was all smiles and even stepped out from behind her counter (she did not have to) to wish us a Happy Anniversary and to let us know that the hotel prepared a small surprise for us. We went to the room and were greeted with the LOVELIEST note and towel art, and mirror art which we could not even bear to wipe away by the lovely Amel. All the staff there were really very smiley right from the entrance all the way to housekeeping. Food in the hotel was great - room service as well as breakfast buffet. Breakfast was a mix of local food, indomie (!!!), eggs station and assortment of western and pastries too! My favourite was the fresh juices, tea and eggs station! It was a nice spread! Amel received us at breakfast on Day 2 and 3 and even prepared a special meal for us - it was really yummy and THOUGHTFUL and the icing on top was when the entire team came out to sing us a song (with a guitar and the full works :')) and the cake on Day 3! We are sold to come back to only 4 Points Sheraton Batam for life every time we visit because they really made us feel so so welcomed and special."
