"I recently stayed at Planet Holiday Hotel Batam for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. One of the highlights of my stay was being pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which made the trip even more comfortable and memorable. The suite was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel’s location is excellent and one of its biggest advantages. It’s conveniently surrounded by shopping malls, plenty of food options, convenience stores, and Batam’s vibrant nightlife, making it easy to explore the area without travelling far. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the overall service exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a hotel that offers great value, a strategic location, comfortable rooms, and excellent hospitality, I would definitely recommend Planet Holiday Hotel Batam. Thank you to the team for making my stay so enjoyable—I look forward to returning on my next trip to Batam."

"The location of the hotel was great, just a short 5 mins walk from the Habourbay Terminal. However, was rather disappointed by the service and facilities. (1) Room had a weird stale, musty smell when we first checked in to our room, but the smell eventually went away after 2-3h with aircon circulation. It was bearable but we could really use an air freshener. (2) We were not informed that the gym/pool had opening or closing times. There were also no signs indicating as such. When we tried to visit the gym at around 10pm, everything was already closed. (3) On the amenities, we had to make repeated checks receptionist that we can get a shaving razor and instant coffee. At first, the housekeeping didn't understand what we wanted. The first receptionist at the front desk simply just tried to waive us away by saying they are not available. It was only after we approached a second receptionist did they finally understood and brought it out for us. The shower gel also ran out after the first night and housekeeping did not refill it despite cleaning the room in the day. (4) The hotel spa, despite saying they were open for 24h and that a reservation was required, repeatedly told us to go to their counter at the 4th floor to check on availability. We went there and checked at least 6 times during our 3D2N stay and each time, we were told that there was no immediate availability but to come back at a later time instead. They also turned us away when we tried to make an advance booking. They could have saved time for everyone by just saying there was no availability and reservations were unavailable instead of asking us to come back every now and then. Overall, the service level was very disappointing for a 4-star hotel. There are better and cheaper hotel options around the Harbourbay area."

"Overall, my stay at AsiaLink Easy by Prasanthi was okay, but there were some issues. The main problem was the air-conditioning in the hotel room. The room felt warm, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. We eventually had to request a room change for the following day. On the positive side, the hotel provides free lunch or dinner every day, which was a great benefit. The breakfast was also not bad. The receptionist was helpful, and the overall service was decent. Overall, the stay was satisfactory, but the air-conditioning issue definitely affected our comfort."

"I had a pleasant stay at this hotel during my business trip. The location is excellent, with easy access to business districts, restaurants, and convenience stores. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, making it easy to work remotely and attend online meetings. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night’s rest after a busy day. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to assist. Breakfast offered a good variety of local and international dishes, providing a great start to the day."

"Hotel is great. Breakfast is good. The only thing was while I was at the swimming pool, the anti-slip mats were not extended all the way to the 2nd Jacuzzi… i slipped and fell after I came out of the jacuzzi, just before I reached the anti-slip mats. If only there had been just one more piece of mat, I would not have slipped…"

"The security staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful，they would even assist by opening the door, which made us feel welcomed. The location is very convenient, especially if you have an early ferry back to Malaysia. It’s only about a 5-minute walk to the terminal, which is a big plus. However, the room cleanliness needs improvement. The pillowcases and bedsheets had visible stains, which was quite disappointing."

"Value for money. Cleanliness needs to improve a bit on the floor sweeping. Some mosquito found in the room. Same. My friends on another room also faced mosquitos issue. But it's not a lot. Just a few. But it's important to improve on this."

"Service was good, staff were attentive. However upkeep of room windows can be better, it was moulding slightly. Also, got assigned to a smoking floor though I requested for a non smoking room… and was unable to change rooms. But they offered dehumidification service."

"Have stayed here previously. Check in was smooth. The reception is courteous. Rooms are reasonably sized. My previous and current stays had experienced bedsheets and towels having stains. Certain lights not working. Upon reports on the same, housekeeping came, took pictures but nothing was done. The rooftop bar was worse than I had experienced. Food was tasteless and cocktails were way too sweet. Complaining didn't seem to be heard by the manager. Needs improvement."

"This is a pleasant hotel located near Harbour Bay, although it is not within comfortable walking distance. The food and service were both very good. A special mention goes to the chef preparing the fried noodles—they were outstanding, and I would happily return just to enjoy that dish again. The guest room was comfortable, but the furniture showed noticeable signs of wear and would benefit from refurbishment or replacement. The swimming pool access felt a little unusual, as the entrance is located next to the restaurant, while the changing rooms are quite a distance away, making it less convenient for guests. The gym is spacious, which is a great feature. However, many of the machines were out of order, so maintaining or replacing the equipment would significantly improve the fitness facilities."
