"I recently stayed at Planet Holiday Hotel Batam for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. One of the highlights of my stay was being pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which made the trip even more comfortable and memorable. The suite was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel’s location is excellent and one of its biggest advantages. It’s conveniently surrounded by shopping malls, plenty of food options, convenience stores, and Batam’s vibrant nightlife, making it easy to explore the area without travelling far. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the overall service exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a hotel that offers great value, a strategic location, comfortable rooms, and excellent hospitality, I would definitely recommend Planet Holiday Hotel Batam. Thank you to the team for making my stay so enjoyable—I look forward to returning on my next trip to Batam."

"The location of the hotel was great, just a short 5 mins walk from the Habourbay Terminal. However, was rather disappointed by the service and facilities. (1) Room had a weird stale, musty smell when we first checked in to our room, but the smell eventually went away after 2-3h with aircon circulation. It was bearable but we could really use an air freshener. (2) We were not informed that the gym/pool had opening or closing times. There were also no signs indicating as such. When we tried to visit the gym at around 10pm, everything was already closed. (3) On the amenities, we had to make repeated checks receptionist that we can get a shaving razor and instant coffee. At first, the housekeeping didn't understand what we wanted. The first receptionist at the front desk simply just tried to waive us away by saying they are not available. It was only after we approached a second receptionist did they finally understood and brought it out for us. The shower gel also ran out after the first night and housekeeping did not refill it despite cleaning the room in the day. (4) The hotel spa, despite saying they were open for 24h and that a reservation was required, repeatedly told us to go to their counter at the 4th floor to check on availability. We went there and checked at least 6 times during our 3D2N stay and each time, we were told that there was no immediate availability but to come back at a later time instead. They also turned us away when we tried to make an advance booking. They could have saved time for everyone by just saying there was no availability and reservations were unavailable instead of asking us to come back every now and then. Overall, the service level was very disappointing for a 4-star hotel. There are better and cheaper hotel options around the Harbourbay area."

"Overall, my stay at AsiaLink Easy by Prasanthi was okay, but there were some issues. The main problem was the air-conditioning in the hotel room. The room felt warm, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. We eventually had to request a room change for the following day. On the positive side, the hotel provides free lunch or dinner every day, which was a great benefit. The breakfast was also not bad. The receptionist was helpful, and the overall service was decent. Overall, the stay was satisfactory, but the air-conditioning issue definitely affected our comfort."

"I have been to this place many times since 2020, if I’m not mistaken. It's an amazing location, akin to visiting old friends in an unfamiliar setting, with excellent service from the hospitality staff. They understand your needs and largely provide what you desire. I felt as though I was being pampered by a butler in a premium hotel. Marriott hotels offer a 24-hour gym, sauna/steam room, and room service. The rooms are beautifully designed, featuring comfortable beds and luxury pillows that are specially designed for relaxation. The leisure activities within the hotel area are excellent, and the Harbour Bay ferry exit is just a 10-minute walk to the right, where you can discover some very affordable local food restaurants, such as Bay City Seafood. We particularly enjoyed the steamed black grouper and steamed silver pomfret. Just let the waitress know if you prefer less sauce to reduce the saltiness. For personal care, there is a salon near the Swiss-Bel Hotel. I paid less than S$20, including tips, for an hour of foot reflexology or a body massage. For breakfast, there is a variety of cooked foods, ice cream, yogurt, desserts, breads, cakes, salads, and more. We enjoyed the carrot and orange juice, and at the hotel, you can order any juice or drink you prefer. Next time I visit, I plan to order smoothies for my breakfast. Thank goodness I will definitely be returning to the Batam Marriott Harbour Bay to take a break from my routine and indulge myself!"

"Pacific Palace Hotel is well-located, offering a central base with easy access to popular spots like Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall, Grand Batam Mall, and the Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal. There are plenty of restaurants and food options nearby. A Morning Bakery is just a 5-minute walk away, perfect for an authentic local breakfast experience. The rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. The unique cruise ship theme adds charm and provides several great Instagram-worthy photo spots. The hotel also features a pleasant swimming pool, and massage services are available at rates more affordable than many external spas. Staff are friendly, attentive, and always ready to help."

"The security staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful，they would even assist by opening the door, which made us feel welcomed. The location is very convenient, especially if you have an early ferry back to Malaysia. It’s only about a 5-minute walk to the terminal, which is a big plus. However, the room cleanliness needs improvement. The pillowcases and bedsheets had visible stains, which was quite disappointing."

"The room is good and bed is comfy. I don't like the toilet, it's quite small indeed. The room also have mosquitoes, quite annoying. Service wise is not very helpful. I'm asking for a small change for the grab as most of the grab drivers in Batam don't have small change, a BIG hotel just shun you off and say don't have ... Just a small change if breaking IDR50,000 also don't have! Breakfast is terrible thou, nothing to fancy about ... I stayed for 4 days 3 nights, but I can say every morning breakfast is a disaster"

"Service was good, staff were attentive. However upkeep of room windows can be better, it was moulding slightly. Also, got assigned to a smoking floor though I requested for a non smoking room… and was unable to change rooms. But they offered dehumidification service."

"Need to upgrade the room . I got a leve 4 room which had some issues with door which the door cannot close properly . Wall need to be repainted and the woodwork need to fix and flooring need to clean up. And lightings need to change. Apparently this hotel needs an upgrade . But the only things is Service is good and sky lounge at roof top is nice due the view."

"firstly is priority given for my request and i am absolutely happy and satisfy. all the staff present i am facing make my days wonderful and respectful. appreciate a lots secondly the peace of mine and quiet place for a good rest makes it wonderful trip in my entire days in batam will always be my good impression hotel whenever i will be in batam.
