"The location is absolutely perfect, right at the foot of the trail leading to the Kawah Ijen crater. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. The cabins are spotless and brand new. They're very comfortable with excellent bedding. A fantastic place to stay for exploring Kawah Ijen! It gets chilly in the evening, so make sure to bring warm clothes. And don't hesitate to ask for an extra blanket."

"Что понравилось: виды с территории отеля на рисовые террасы, ухоженная территория отеля, обслуживание в кафе, неплохой завтрак, чистая постель. Что НЕ ПОНРАВИЛОСЬ: нам достался номер D204 сильный запах канализации из слива в душе и под раковиной, при этом дверь в ванную герметично не закрывается, пробывали жаловаться на ресепшн с целью замены номера, но нам отказали, пришлось решать проблему подручными способами, так что если выбираете этот отель возьмите с собой сантехнический скотч. В номере отсутствует вентиляция днём это не проблема т.к. можно открыть дверь на террасу, но ночью это не вариант, в результате все вещи были сырыми. Уехала бы из этого отеля на следующий день, но бронирование было по предоплате."

We were unlucky with the weather, but I represent what kind of view from the hotel pool. On 4 volcano. The whole area is detailed. Go straight and the eyes are joyful. The restaurant was delicious. Breakfast was delicious. They also have a wonderful coffee and they sell grain there. Staff is very responsive and kind. In general we are satisfied by 200% If I honestly wanted to this hotel at once, but I read the reviews and chose the one from which 🤪 escaped, so do not believe any negative reviews here. The hotel is wonderful. Maybe you will find some minus, but I think it is the best option here! We stopped to go to Ijin. Thanks to the staff. If we had more time, we would stay here for a couple more nights."

"Ouf, what a hidden gem! The bungalows at Purwa Ijen are top-notch, offering an amazing value for money. It is located in a super authentic, small and peaceful village with beautiful views and lush vegetation (besides all the rice fields). Our highlight was the breakfast, where we got the best smoothie bowl on our whole trip through Indonesia. The Ijen tour (500K) was also an unbeatable price. Transfer to the Bali ferry for 200K was also affordable. We especially loved the spacious bathroom and the comfy terrace with jungle and ricefield view. IMHO Purwa Ijen is one of the best value accommodation you can find in the Ijen area, highly recommended. WiFi also worked like a breeze."

"Very beautiful but scary. I feel a little regretful for the 800+ room during the Spring Festival. Advantages✔️: 1. The scenery of the hotel is really beautiful. I personally think it is more impressive than the Ubud Rice Terraces. 2. The hotel staff is also very enthusiastic. Because we have to go to Ijen at 1 a.m., they will take the initiative to pack breakfast (but the food is hard to describe). 3. The fried rice in the restaurant at night is delicious. Disadvantages❌: 1. It is really too ”secluded”! It takes about an hour to drive from Ijen, and there is a long path to the hotel. 2. Too close to nature, including seeing a dead fly on the quilt after dinner, and finding a small spider crawling on the quilt when I was ready to go to bed... I understand that these are inevitable in the forest terraces, but for children who grow up in the city, these are a bit too scary. Fortunately, I slept until 1 a.m. and set off. 3. The quilt is very wet. It feels like it is because of the rainy season + living in the forest terraces. The whole house feels damp. Considering the price overall, it is not particularly recommended. It should be more suitable for friends who are not afraid of insects and like to be close to nature."
