Had such a great stay at the garage, super scenic spot. The room was just perfect and it was quite a treat to arrive to fresh baked banana bread and chocolate cake the day we arrived. The owner was very accommodating and there to answer any questions. My boys, ages 11 and 13 were able to explore the property up to the waterfall behind the home which was an extra special treat. Especially when her dogs followed us along the trail I think that made their day. We even got to take advantage of the hot tub after our day of hiking. Looking back I would have booked 2 nights here as we really loved it and could have easily stayed 2 days and done some of our tours venturing out from there. .

The room environment was comfortable and clean, with a kitchen for cooking. Check-in was convenient, and I most enjoyed the scenery in the surrounding area, which felt like a world unto itself. It allowed us to spend an unforgettable day in Iceland.

Very comfortable cabin, very suitable for couples or families, can accommodate 4 people. The environment is clean and tidy, making people want to live for a few more days.

Environment: Excellent, with views of the snow-capped mountains from the window. Cleanliness: Clean, soft towels, disposable slippers and bathrobes provided. Service: The staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities: Breakfast was quite substantial, although it was still white food.

💯💯💯 recommend Lindartun Guesthouse! Stayed here for 1 night on 1st October 2024 after our drive to Highlands and got here when it was already dark but i loved the drive to the junction from the main road to the guesthouse. It was pretty dark around the area which we thought we could be lucky for aurora sightings but it was cloudy. Luckily, I asked the owner when was the last aurora sighting at the guesthouse and she immediately opened her laptop and that’s when I found put there’s aurora forecast website in Iceland. She was the one that let us know there’s higher chance to spot aurora on the upcoming friday due to clear sky. Oh btw, for our check-in process, when I first arrived and entered the guesthouse, please take off your shoes by the entrance, and go to reception area infront of the kitchen and take the house phone to call the owner. We booked room no. 5 which cones with a sofa bed and the long toom was so cute and cozy. This is the cutest guesthouse room design among all 13 accoms across the country during our trip. I really loved it a lot as the room was long and spacious. The common dining area was really nice and big which I didn’t really spend time here. But I used the kitchen the next morning to boil hot water and make myself my hot chocolate and instant mushroom soup. Worth my money. Will book again if I visit Iceland again next time! Stay in a triple room with a double bed and a single bed. Three large luggages and a small luggage are all problems. Shared hall and open kitchen. The place is quite large. There are three toilets. I have not tried it. I have to wait. It is suitable for a family. The car can be parked in front of the house. There is a restaurant opposite to the restaurant. Eat no problem, come back next time.

The room was clean, the service was good, the breakfast was good, the good choice for a day off, I accidentally broke a glass and didn’t let me compensate. I forgot the power bank and called the hotel to ask and quickly helped find it.

It was past 8 when I arrived at the hotel that night, the restaurant was closed, and the waiter took out a simple map and patiently explained the location of the nearby restaurant. Breakfast is buffet style, richer than expected and very satisfying. The hotel layout is very chic, many hiccups. There is free parking space, convenient location, only 5 minutes away from the lava exhibition hall Lava Centre .

Nice accommodation in a farm with 🐏 outside your windows. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. They provided a washing machine and a dryer too. Thank you for making our stay comfortable
