Nagano City Hotels with Wifi

I was very lucky to book the last room on Saturday. Although the evaluation on the trip was not high, the evaluation on Google map was excellent and it was better than expected. I had the opportunity to come to Huyin and stay again. Thank you for everyone received by the hotel. It made me have a very pleasant journey.

Considering the price, I can only give it full marks. A bathtub is a must-have for me, so getting two nights for just over 400 yen (which is incredibly cheap) was a great deal. The tub is small, fitting a maximum of three people, but during off-peak hours, you can have it all to yourself. It's very close to Nagano Station, right across from the exit. You can walk to Zenko-ji Temple. Taking the JR train to Ueda to see things related to Sanada Yukimura is also very convenient. The only downside was seeing a notice that a lost room key would cost 9,000 yen – that's almost as much as the two-night stay itself...!

This was a last minute selection on the train from Tokyo, but the right one. It's a short 5 minute walk from the Nagano station and has spacious rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful, but best of all, on arrival you are given a welcome drink and dessert of your choice. The entire place seems to be obsessed with desserts, to my liking. They also provides free ice cream and upon check out, bags of candy and cookies. Maybe it's a Christmas promotion, but a welcome surprise. The breakfast is a bit expensive, but has a nice selection of food choices, including salmon, more desserts, and various Japanese food. I only stayed one night, but I believe they have an onsen and other amenities. Well worth it. I stayed in other hotels in Nagano, and this one was superior.

The hotel is nice, from the station about 10 minutes walk almost in a straight line, wake up. The room was originally wrong, it was reserved for smokers, even though we don't smoke, the room was given the appropriate one, the smell in it was just not very good, like for those who don't smoke at all, it started already on the floor.But the staff, fortunately, were able to find us a replacement for a non-smoking room, yes, less, yes one big bed instead of two, but with stunning mountain views and a coffee machine. A Japanese-style hotel with extreme temperatures. Although the luggage has to be carried up and down the steep and bright wooden stairs, the old antiques in the house make life afraid of breaking up, all guests share the bathroom bathroom and hot spring ♨️. But it is so warm, the space is reasonably used upstairs and downstairs, and the 20 or so rooms are scattered. Comfortable hot spring baths, soft cloth tatami mats and the quiet environment in the store make people relax. The hotel operator is an elderly couple over 80 years old, busy upstairs and downstairs every day, ushered in, the 81-year-old gentleman not only has a hard body but also a super memory, every time the guest goes out, he picks out the guest's shoes and puts them in front of the guest, never making mistakes. Grandma is also radiant and kind, and she will not forget every word the guests have said to her, carefully and meticulously. The two elders stood outside the door in slippers and bowed and waved goodbye to us until the bus traveled. Maybe it is because of the fact that this century-old store has been passed down. I hope everyone can feel their precious warmth and cherish it when they stay.

It's a cozy and lovely little hostel. The location is super convenient, just a short walk from Nagano Station. It feels like an old house, but it's been decorated very cutely and comfortably. It's perfect for solo travelers or those looking to transfer goods. The only downside is that the bathroom is a bit cold.

This place is ~5mins walk from Zenkoji temple. neighborhood is peaceful at night. Shoes to be removed outside the accommodation. Rooms are on the 2nd floor so you'll have to carry your luggage up (there's no lift). Room (with window) is huge. You'll have to head downstairs to use the shared toilet and shared onsen (no toilet inside the room). We were only allowed 30mins of onsen time for 2 pax - couples weren't allowed to use the onsen concurrently so we had to go one after another (i'm not sure if the instructions got lost in translation..). Felt very rushed so i didnt really get to enjoy the onsen experience, but overall was nice and clean. Interesting 6.30am tour around the area and within the temple itself, followed by a simple vegetarian breakfast (porridge with omakase-styled sides with miso soup) back at the accommodation. The morning tour lasted from 6.30am - 8.30am. The accommodation provided a fleece blanket to each pax to bring to Zenkoji temple to keep us warm during the morning praying ceremony. We went on 30 Dec and it was SO COLD. Overall interesting experience but accommodation price is pretty steep IMO.

The hotel is really well situated, less than 10 minutes from the JR station, and on the same street as the Shrine, so there were lots of places to eat nearby. I stayed in a dorm, which had more people than I expected for a room (I think I saw at least 60 bed/lockers) so it was quite loud even at night as people kept walking in and out. The actual bed was fine, and the people at the front took their time to walk me through what to know for the hostel. The lounge is a little awkwardly partitioned, but at least you get a space to use if you need food. The dorm itself, I think has a little too many people to be comfortable but is clean enough. The lights never turn off, but because you have a curtain, it blocks out most of it. The largest issue is the noise, since people are coming in and out at random times of the night, and the buttons to open the door are also quite loud when you're trying to sleep. If you want ear plugs, they have them for a fee at the front. Nagano overall was very nice though, and the location made it a lot easier to get around.

The shared toilet and bathroom were not far from the Togakushi Shinkoge Onsen Yukan, so we took a shower directly at the hot spring. The room was just okay, but the kids had a lot of fun playing in the thick snow outside. If the boss has time in the evening, he can prepare a dinner even if it is past dinner time, but he can only choose one dish, curry rice or roast beef rice, and the charge is 1,100 yen per person. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to Zhongsha. You can take a taxi to the ski resort or to downtown Nagano from Zhongsha. It is very convenient, but the bus interval is long.

Very good location, just opposite the train station. Reception is on level 2, but staff is helpful to help carry luggages to and fro ground floor. Room is small and toilet is squeezy, but still decent for a short stay. There is a Shampoo Bar at the reception to pick up stoiletries. Breakfast is good, the complimentary soba noodles on selected weekday nights is also great. Nice view from the 10th floor, and also free space for customers to chill during the day. Water was not provided complimentary to customers but instead was earned through a game.
