"It's a really great place, comfy and cozy. The little veranda was cold in the morning but with the curtains, we didn't feel it at all in the room. As our room was more at the back and not so close to the road, we also didn't hear the traffic at all. Really nice accommodation."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this motel - it was basic but met all our needs. Very clean. Comfortable beds and walking distance to town. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming and there were lovely personal touches such as fudge on arrival - very thoughtful. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others."

"Nice Kiwi motel. Actually I really appreciated it because it was super clean. Quite tidy, very good hot shower and nice location by the river with an easy 10 min walk to town. Comfortable bed, very clean sheets & bedding. TV was a bit old & limited channels but no time for watching TV. Would definitely stay again."

"Arrived into Whanganui and found the hotel easily. After checking in, very easily, we went to our room.
Not sure how old the hotel is, but the hall way & guest lounge very 1920’s with modern touches - comfortable & elegant.
Our room was another elegant room with lovely touches accenting the period of the property.
Though looking “old” the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was huge with a corner whirlpool bath, as well as a shower too.
We ate in the restaurant that evening & both of us had a lovely meal. Great stay & definitely recommend it."

Everyone was friendly. The park is very run down and in need of a make over. Its very old and just tired. When we were there it was like gods waiting room for grey nomads. The room was not clean so a deep clean was badly needed. Other than that no complaints.

Guest UserThe room I stayed in this time has been refurbished, and it is beautiful and the accommodation is quiet. I will introduce it to my friends next time. The boss is Chinese, very friendly, introduce what we go to, and the price is not expensive. The parking space is 10 points. .

I didn't encounter special things, so the service part could not be objectively affordable, but the counter staff was quite kind. The room is a bit old, the door is transparent glass, although it is blocked by curtains, but there are gaps between the curtains, you can see the inside directly from the outside, it feels more privacy, the rest is no problem

gagagzThe location is easy to find, I accidentally found that the store is Chinese, the manager is very good, knows that we need to cook, help us upgrade for free, a big motel, the facilities for children are complete, but the shower equipment is a little old, overall it is good
