Villa Solviken is located in the lake and forest area of Värmland and belongs to the small village of Simonstorp, which actually consists of just a few houses - you won't find a village shop here - you will find an idyll here that hardly exists. So don't be surprised if a flock of Canada geese walks past you on the street - it's their customary law and nobody will disturb them. Villa Solviken is not a small house and was completely renovated in 2015, i.e. h .: new bathrooms (one with whirlpool), super-comfortable fitted kitchen with touchscreen hob, fridge-freezer combination, triple-glazed windows, modern ventilation via inventory for a good indoor climate - and of course a high-quality equipment for the living rooms. You don't have to do without connecting to civilization, because Villa Solviken has high-speed internet (fiber optic cable). The kitchen is large, 6 people can comfortably sit at the dining table - and are spoiled with a view of Lake Tvällen. The covered terrace is more than spacious, the lake almost at your fingertips. The comfortable seating in the living room will delight you. On the ground floor there is also a smaller bedroom and the bathroom with a whirlpool. The two bedrooms upstairs are larger and have their own wardrobes. The shower room is also on the upper floor.Villa Solviken has a full basement - enough storage space for bulky holiday items such as golf bags or surfboards can be accommodated here. The washing machine is set up here - so there is no tightness in the utility area - not even on the property with a lot of lawn around the house, because it is 2,500 m² in size and extends to the edge of the forest. The boat launch for our guests is located directly on the lakeshore in front of the house. Here we have moored a rowboat for trips across the lake. Anglers will also like to use the boat.About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Check in after 3:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About events:No events allowed.

Villa Björklöven is a holiday home for the discerning guest. Built in 2011 according to the latest standard, it fulfills (almost) every wish: underfloor heating and triple glazing made the interior work possible up to the roof. You will immediately feel comfortable in the airy and bright rooms. The living area and kitchen are integrated and have floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides. The lake view is phenomenal. Two bathrooms and the sauna are just as standard as a washing machine (with integrated dryer), dishwasher, shoe dryer, TV with preset German programs etc. The most beautiful is the 135,000 m² nature site, which is also in the middle of the landscape protection area and extends to the lake. You only share this huge area with two other holiday homes, as well as the Villa Hultängen, which is located somewhat higher. Families who are friends can also rent two houses together. Due to the location on the lake, the property is particularly low in mosquitoes - a great advantage. The surrounding area: Villa Björklöven can be reached via a private driveway (approx. 150 meters). The property is characterized by rich trees and only opens to the lake. Now look directly at the wonderful Rottnansee and the Gettjärns-Klättan nature reserve opposite, to which you can paddle over by canoe to hike up romantic forest paths and enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the lake landscape. But our property is also worth exploring: meadows, birch groves and groves alternate; two small torrents are not only interesting for children. The private lake shore with its 400 meters length is not common even in Sweden. From here you can see the many small bays of Lake Rottnansee, which has a bit of a fjord character. The surrounding area is little built up and gently wavy - the views of the lake are always beautiful. The next town Gräsmark is 7 km away; Here you will find everything for shopping: (supermarket, petrol station, post office). The wider area: After two or three days of acclimatization, you will certainly feel the need for a longer excursion: The town of Sunne, 20 km away, is located on Lake Frykensee and is already ideal for more extensive 'shopping'. There is also an adventure pool with lots of slides for children, mini golf, bowling, etc. Before Sunne, also at Frykensee, there is a golf course worth seeing and the Rottneros Park, which is also worthwhile for children with its manor house and the great gardens, because here they can get rid of excess energy on the adventure playground while the parents relax in the 'Rottneros Café'. A tip for gourmets is the lonely 'Värdshus' on Lake Tväll. (Via Gräsmark towards the Norwegian border). Before you go past the highly recommended Kymmensee.Did you know that Värmland is known as an artist province? The royal linen weaving mill is well worth a visit to Klässbol near Arvika. B. also if you want to buy a tablecloth 'forever'. By the way: the king is almost our neighbor, his holiday home is on Lake Rottnansee! Sweden's largest arts and crafts fair takes place once a year in July in Brunskog near Arvika: traditional handicrafts in and around historic buildings are demonstrated here, and Swedish folklore groups fiddle and dance. Villa Björklöven is not only suitable for summer holidays: the nearest ski area is only 10 km away.About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Check in after 3:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About events:No events allowed.

Villa Rottnaholm was built in 2011 and offers a modern but very Swedish feeling of space. The more than generously dimensioned living-dining room-kitchen area opens with its gable-high glass front to the lake and conveys an almost breathtaking panorama and a unique attitude to life in the middle of nature. A loft-like sleeping loft across the entire width of the house enjoys the same view. Two of the three bedrooms have been extended up to the gable and convey a wonderfully airy feeling of space - in other words, it is a holiday home of the extra class, modern floor heating, 2 bathrooms, sauna, fireplace and a park-like natural property of 135. 000 m² in size. Forests and meadows alternate. We have created fireplaces on the lake shore for romantic evenings. There is a large trampoline for children and some seating. Our canoes lie on three small sandy bays. Feel free to roam on hiking trails (or next to them) this not so small vacation paradise. In order to bring the special mood and diverse leisure activities of our private property on Lake Rottnans closer to the guest, we have developed our own homepage. Here you will also learn a lot about the surrounding area. The surrounding area: The property is only accessible via a 150 m long private driveway and is an intimate world in itself due to the trees and adjacent meadows. Old pines, light birch forest, meadows, two torrents and the varied shoreline: that is pure Sweden. The area around Lake Rottnan is so beautiful that it has been placed under landscape protection; the opposite side of the lake is part of a nature reserve that you are welcome to hike or 'paddle'. Extended boat tours are ideal. You get the best impression of the surroundings when you hike up the nature reserve on the other side of the lake on one of the beautiful forest paths. Once at the top, you can lie down on the grass, take a picnic break and enjoy the wonderful view of the most beautiful part of Varmland. The Rottnansee with its location reminiscent of fjords is framed by mountains and with its length of about 20 km it is also not very small. Ideal for long canoe trips. The wider area: You will certainly be in Sunne more than once because of the larger offer for daily needs. Just leave the car at the train station and treat yourself to a train ride to the state capital Karlstad. The journey will not disappoint, because it leads you along Frykensee and is one of the most beautiful train routes that I know. This way you will also get to know the 'metropolis' Karlstad. You can also drive from Sunne in the opposite direction to Torsby along Frykensee and make a detour to Tossebergs-Klättan and enjoy the lake landscape from there. It is worthwhile in any case; and from Torsby, which is only 35 km away from us, every morning a small propeller plane flies directly to Stockholm and back in the evening. That may sound a bit extravagant, but we have already done it ourselves and just loved it. Of course Oslo does and is easy to reachWhat are the special features?: At this point, I don't want to give any travel guide wisdom, but rather give special tips, one of which is for gourmets, because game specialties such as bear steak, wild cock and elk loin are not available in every restaurant. The best we know can be found 25 km behind Gräsmark. It is lonely at the Tvällensee and is simply called 'Värdshus'. Turn in Gräsmark towards Torsby, but follow the road straight towards the Norwegian border to Simonstorp, where you continue for another 2 km and see the 'Värdshus'. The gastronomy is just great and you sit very comfortably. On the way there you will pass Lake Kymmen. There is a wonderful barbecue area under the trees here, if you prefer rustic (and a sandy beach).
