Hotels in Kunming Beishi District, Kunming

The place was located in a building housing several small hotels, but there were only two working elevators. One went directly to the 28th floor, but it was under maintenance when I arrived, so I had to wait for the other elevator, which stopped at every floor, and the wait was incredibly long. I really disliked the requirement to add the hotel on WeChat at the front desk to get the room's Wi-Fi password; it shouldn't be enforced so rigidly. The TV was on but couldn't be watched because the memory was full.

We booked a twin room for our family trip with kids. The two beds could be pushed together, and they also provided bed rails, which was a great service. The air conditioning was a bit too strong. It got cold with the AC on, but a little warm with it off, so I had to get up in the middle of the night to turn it off every day. It would be great if it had smart control. The trash cans in the room and bathroom were a bit small. With more trash, things would easily fall out, making it harder for housekeeping to clean. There was a slight, subtle hum from the refrigerator, but it was only noticeable late at night when it was quiet. This might be a minor issue for light sleepers, but it's not a big deal. There are two elevators. One is a dedicated elevator, but the card reader wasn't very sensitive and a bit tricky to use. The other stops on all floors, which meant more people, but overall, it was still very convenient and fast.

This was the most comfortable stay I've had in Kunming. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and there was plenty of parking in the basement. It was also conveniently located, with food options right outside – no bad choices! Highly recommend.

The room is very large and spacious, very close to the subway station, and the view is very wide on the high floor. I always stay at his house when I go on a business trip to Kunming. The front desk service is also very good and responsive.

The hotel room is located within a residential complex, making it super quiet at night – I slept really well. The room itself is quite spacious and brightly decorated, and I particularly loved the purple mood lighting, it was beautiful. What truly stands out is how incredibly clean the hotel is. The mirrors were spotless, not a single water mark! The cleaning staff (Ayi) was also very patient when servicing my extended stay. I've been staying here for over ten days now and I continue to trust them. Excellent, highly recommend.

Facilities: Very complete, has everything you need. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: The room is huge! Very close to the subway station, the surroundings are quiet, the location is a bit out of the way, but it's easy to get a taxi! Service: Not bad, but the service at the Ji Hotel in Xishan is super good!!! However, this hotel is more comfortable.

Need to improve on the elevator's performance. One elevator is shared with trash and kitchen work therefore it is dirty and smelly. The other zone is very slow because it stops on all floors. The front desk does not speak a word of English which is not a big deal but if the hotel opens for foreigners then it might be an ideal to have staff who can accomodate foreign guests. The rest is perfect as in terms of price and facility. Breakfast is great, a lot of variety, worth money. Overall, it is a lovely place to stay.

Location: The location is very good, very close to Xindu Longcheng and Tongde Square. The transportation is convenient, and the subway station is just a few minutes' walk away. Environment: The room is really great, with large floor-to-ceiling windows, a lot of space, the bed is very soft, and the room is very comfortable to stay in. It is the best one I have ever stayed in in the same price range. It is very clean and will not be a surprise. The internal facilities are very complete, including many facilities that are not found in other hotels, such as refrigerators, washing machines, and air conditioners. Including the dry and wet separation in the bathroom, which is really convenient, and it is also a smart toilet. The giant screen projection in the room allows you to watch videos for free, and the viewing effect is also very good. Service: The service is very good, all kinds of problems can be solved well, and the front desk staff is attentive. Polite, greetings proactively, smiling all the time, and feeling very friendly, the young lady is awesome! I came very late and there was someone at the front desk. Laundry detergent, eye masks, and tea bags are provided for free at the front desk, and takeaway orders are also delivered directly to the door. Parking: Free parking is available at the entrance of the hotel, and there is also an underground parking lot, which is convenient. Highly recommend this hotel! Well worth a stay!

The room was quite spacious and comfortable, and the bed was very soft. Plus, there was a mini-fridge! When I checked in, the butler, a very friendly gentleman, helped me with my luggage and was very good at chatting. He also gave a detailed introduction to the room, even mentioning that the mattress was from Mousse. My room was well-arranged, and the family room had a lot of thoughtful touches. Just a side note, when I asked for a second room key, the butler, a lady, was quite firm and said it wasn't possible. After some discussion, she did give me a power card. If I go to the northern part of Kunming again, I'll definitely stay here.
