Hotels in Dian Chi Exhibition Center, Kunming

I spent a long time choosing a hotel for our trip to Kunming because I wanted somewhere that would keep the kids entertained, but also be suitable for celebrating our wedding anniversary and a birthday. I chose this place primarily for the bathtub in this room type and its convenient location. However, once we arrived, I was truly impressed by how comprehensive the amenities are. From meals to entertainment, and catering to both children and adults, everything is taken care of. The staff were also incredibly friendly and attentive. The biggest surprise was the handwritten birthday card – in this digital age, a handwritten card really warms the heart. We booked two nights, and we didn't even leave the hotel for one of them; we spent the entire day there with the kids and never got bored. My children are already talking about coming back again.

Downstairs is the charging pile, it is very convenient for the tram self-driving tour, there is a bus hub nearby, 3 roads directly to the city, the hotel environment is good. There are a lot of food on the right side of the door, barbecue tilapia 👏👏👏 excellent

Booked a Deluxe Twin Room for a trip with a friend, and the overall experience was perfect! The room was spacious and bright, with plenty of distance between the two beds, ensuring privacy. The entire room was meticulously cleaned, the bedding was clean and soft, and the mattress firmness was just right. The soundproofing was excellent, making for a very quiet night. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, ample hot water, and a full range of toiletries. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and efficient, so check-in was quick. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making it very convenient for getting around. The simple yet stylish decor looked great in every photo I took, as you can see from the attached real photos. This is the top choice for friends traveling together or two people on a business trip – incredible value for money, and I'll definitely rebook for my next trip!

The location is good. There is a shopping mall downstairs, which is very convenient for shopping and eating. There are many choices. The room facilities are practical and reasonable. There are above-ground and underground parking lots. Special thanks to the guy at the front desk. We couldn't find a parking space in the hotel because the underground parking lot was so big. He even ran down to the parking lot to help us.

Location: the hotel is located in Guandu area, about 15km from the centre of Kunming (Wuhoa), located in a building in the mixed commercial area Wang Fujing Outlets Dianchi, near Dianchi convention and exhibition centre. About 30km from the airport, if you book a taxi from the airport, you can book the location of Kunming Zhongying Lighthouse Cinema next to the hotel building, that location is easier to find on car booking apps. If you need a hotel in a convenient location, it is better to be in the central area of Kunming, which is Wuhoa. About rooms and services: The hotel is clean, the room is not too spacious but fully equipped, the staff is very friendly and enthusiastic.

Location is a big plus here — right next to the convention center, a shopping mall with tons of dining and shopping options, and DiDaDi outdoor theme park is literally just outside the hotel. The kids loved it and kept themselves busy the whole time. Rooms were great and the outdoor bathtub was a nice bonus. We had a minor hiccup with the AC going out overnight, but the manager was super responsive and got us moved to a new room without any hassle since the technician wasn’t around over the weekend. Really appreciated that. Free breakfast and supper are both included, and honestly both were really good — plenty of variety and everything tasted great. Oh, and don’t sleep on the hotel’s rooftop photo shoot. The views up there are stunning and it’s a proper must-do during your stay. All in all, a really enjoyable stay. Highly recommend!

The room was very clean and safe for children. There's a residential area behind the hotel, and it's a good distance from the road, so it's very quiet and not noisy at all. The only downside is that there are not many restaurants near the hotel, and you have to walk a long way. However, it's very close to the Dianchi Haigeng Dam and Haigeng Park.

The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to transportation. The nearby exhibition center offers a great variety of shops and restaurants. The lobby has a warm and simple ambiance, and the front desk staff are incredibly welcoming and efficient, making the check-in process very quick. The room itself is spacious, bright, clean, and free of any strange odors. The bedding is soft and comfortable, allowing for a truly restful night's sleep. The bathroom facilities are also excellent, with plenty of hot water for a fantastic shower experience.

It was a surprise. During this time, I came to Kunming for a business trip and booked a very cost-effective hotel. The price of 100 yuan was newly opened, which surprised me! The hotel is also equipped with a free laundry room and gym and breakfast is provided. The laundry service is fast and efficient, which solves the problem of laundry on the journey. The gym is fully equipped, so that I can maintain my exercise habits during my trip. The breakfast is also very rich! More surprising is the WiFi speed in the room is super fast, the signal is stable, no pressure whether it is office reply message or drama, the next business trip will be booked here!

Munan at the front desk has very good service. Free upgrade. The windows in the room are large and open. The breakfast dishes are delicious and have a wide variety. The location is convenient and there are plenty of places to eat around. The transportation is very convenient.
