Hotels in Colorful Yunnan Paradise, Kunming

We did not realize the lobby, the hotel, the swimming pool and the breakfast area are all in different locations, requiring walking some distance to each, mind you very tired from playing all day in the park 😂. Other than that everything else was excellent, especially the service staff, very friendly.

This hotel is a typical resort-style five-star. The facilities, cleanliness, and service all meet five-star standards. The breakfast is decent, typical for a five-star hotel. What truly stands out is the hotel's environment; the garden is exceptionally beautiful. Its design and maintenance are both outstanding. The flowers planted throughout the hotel are gorgeous. It's definitely the top choice for a vacation at Dianchi Lake.

The room was quite spacious and the location was very quiet, perfect for my leisurely stroll. The surroundings are very nice, very close to Dianchi Lake. You can walk to the edge of the lake, and bike rides and strolls along the greenway are very pleasant. The Laoyuchi Wetland is particularly beautiful, and it's not far from the Dounan Flower Market. The pick-up service from the high-speed rail station was also very good. The driver was very attentive and sent me a message with directions to exit the station. The staff at both the front desk and the restaurant were very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

The house is very new and beautifully decorated. The environment of the community is great. Unfortunately, the boss's new TV has not been installed yet. The children kept asking me to book his house again the next day and stay at his house again! ! Really good! !

The room was quite spacious, and I loved the private hot spring in the courtyard. The mountaintop restaurant was just okay; the food could definitely be improved. Overall, it was a pretty good experience for a one-night stay, definitely better than staying in the city.

The hotel is the owner's own house, run by a handsome and experienced young man in his 20s. Located in Haiyan Village, you can drive right in, but other tourist vehicles are not allowed. The sunset in Haiyan Village is breathtaking (I'll upload a picture later). The Laoyu River, just steps away, is even more beautiful, with its metasequoia and bald cypress trees and the waters of Dianchi Lake creating a dreamlike world. The area boasts countless snacks, making it a truly unforgettable experience. In the evenings, the owner mixes cocktails for guests, and everyone gathers in the common area to enjoy drinks and chat, fostering closer relationships. In the mornings, the owner offers a refreshing iced Americano, waking you from sleep and making you feel right at home. Highly recommended. During our stay, there was a public toilet behind the house, which is said to be slated for demolition soon, but the room had no odor, so you can ignore it. The bedding was very comfortable, the room was fully smart, and there was plenty of hot water for washing. When we went to the Dounan Flower Market in the evening, the owner kept the door open for us – a truly warm and caring owner. Highly recommended.

The hotel is newly opened and all facilities are very new. Clean and tidy. Very close to Laoyuhe Park. The garden is very beautiful and thoughtful. Sitting is very comfortable. I lost a wallet, there was a family ID card and a little cash, the owner picked it up and returned it in time, thank you very much 🙏🏻 I will choose this homestay next time I come to Kunming.

This is the champagne of home stays. We have been travelling for nearly a year and this has to be hands down the best experience we’ve had. Joy and the team here was absolutely wonderful. World class customer service. Among all the highlights was also the breakfast on the rooftop. Such such incredible food. I can’t talk highly enough of this place. The room itself is cosy and gorgeous with high quality finishings. We loved it here so much we spent more time in this homestay than outside. Shout out to the brothers who helped us prepare breakfast tirelessly and even helped us bike some very heavy luggage’s on our way back to grab a didi. This will be our go-to place whenever we are in Kunming.

The room is very clean, with an ancient style. I like the design of the room very much. It is warm and elegant. The front desk lady is very good. She called in advance to confirm the route. The breakfast is also delicious and rich. There is also a washing machine and dryer for washing clothes. Hanfu photo shooting is also provided. The surrounding environment is also very good. The transportation is convenient. There is a shopping mall below, which is convenient for eating and shopping. All in all, highly recommended

After comparing many hotels nearby, I finally chose this one. I was pleasantly surprised. There's a parking lot next to the hotel. The decoration is very new, the room is very clean and spacious. It's a smart room. The hotel also has an elevator, so there's no need to climb stairs. It's perfect for two girls. The most heartwarming thing is that we stayed during the Mid-Autumn Festival, and the owner also shared some delicious food with me. It's awesome. I highly recommend it to my friends.
