I stayed at Big Foot Hostel for a few days in Kunming. It's just a few minutes' walk to Zhuanxin Farmers' Market and also close to the subway station, making it very convenient to get to Cuihu Park and the Old Street. The room was clean and tidy with good natural light. The front desk staff were very helpful, and the cleaning auntie diligently cleaned every day, so the whole hostel was spotless. I heard this place has been open for twenty years, and you can really feel the warmth and care that comes with that history. They also have movie nights where everyone sits around chatting and playing guitar. I genuinely recommend it. Next time I'm in Kunming, I'll definitely stay here again!

I spontaneously decided to visit Kunming, and my first thought was to book a room at the Cloud Hotel. This is actually my third stay here! The hotel's location is fantastic; it's a mere 5-minute walk to the old town. For the popular photo spot Huang Gong Dong Street, you just cross the pedestrian bridge right outside the hotel and walk another two or three minutes to Cuihu Park. As always, the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the room was spotlessly clean.

Good location. Near from all the tourist spots. Receptionist knows English. You can cook in the kitchen. There is space for parking car. First Affiliated Hospital is walking distance. Recommend to everyone.

Absolutely perfect! The comfort level is superb, and the price is incredibly good. The experience was fantastic, truly a home away from home. The guy at the front desk was super charming – he could pour drinks, make coffee, and handle check-ins, mastering all the skills! Every evening, they'd bring two complimentary craft beers, which were even better than many pubs. Breakfast offers both Chinese and Western options, both excellent. Crucially, the bedding in the room was really comfortable. The hotel's facilities are great, and the service is super attentive. This hotel adds so much value and definitely enhanced my impression of Kunming!

Overall, a very solid stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient at check-in. Breakfast had a decent variety, though the coffee could be better. The only reason it's not 5 stars: the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty in the evening, and the air conditioning took a while to cool the room. The day before check-in, I communicated with the front desk, explaining that we were traveling with elderly people and hoped for two adjoining rooms, specifically avoiding rooms at the very end or beginning of a hallway. The staff was very thoughtful and upgraded our room type for free, arranging the two rooms next to each other, which made it easy for us to look after each other. This is incredibly important when traveling with seniors. The hotel also provides a free breakfast, which was sufficient, and the elders were used to the food. Throughout our stay, the service was responsive and prompt to all our requests. The hotel originally offered a complimentary room photoshoot, but due to a schedule conflict with the photographer, it couldn't happen. However, the front desk made a great effort to coordinate and advocate for us, showing a very sincere attitude. Although we didn't get the photos in the end, I could truly feel the staff's dedication. Many thanks to all the staff for taking care of our group. Choosing this place for a trip with seniors brought great peace of mind. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kunming!

Come to Kunming with friends to play, and choose this hotel after comprehensive consideration. It is very close to Cuihu Park and it will be there after a short walk. It is also close to the food street, there are a lot of food, very convenient. The overall design of the hotel is very stylish, the atmosphere is full, and the details are exquisite and careful. The public area is very good value, and it is amazing as soon as you come in. The environment is clean and comfortable, the night is very quiet, and the friend is very comfortable. The experience is beyond expectations!

The hotel is relatively new, and the facilities are great, especially the toiletries – the shampoo and conditioner were the best I've encountered in any hotel during my trip to Yunnan. The room comes with a really large soaking tub, which my child absolutely loved. The cleanliness was also good. However, the hotel isn't a standalone building; it's located on one floor of an office building, so getting up and down isn't particularly convenient. Also, the hotel doesn't offer breakfast, and there are very few breakfast places nearby, which was a bit inconvenient.

All facilities are very clean, and I didn't find any stains on the sheets, duvet cover, or pillowcases. The room is cleaned daily. **Environment:** The environment is great. It's just a stone's throw from the subway entrance, and everything you need is nearby. Ordering takeout is also very convenient. It's quiet at night too. The only minor drawback is that the view from the window is of the adjacent building, which isn't spectacular, but it's acceptable. **Service:** The front desk staff are very friendly and efficient. They try their best to accommodate requests. **Facilities:** Overall, they are very good with no major issues. The lighting is just right, the sink has strong water pressure, and the shower has both a rain showerhead and a handheld one with appropriate water pressure. There's also a wardrobe. The laundry room meets basic washing needs, though sometimes there's a queue. The air conditioning is very powerful. There are a few minor issues. Firstly, the water temperature is a bit high, both for showering and at the sink, and the cold water pressure is weak, which isn't very comfortable in summer. Secondly, the lights outside the bathroom can only be controlled as a whole; you can't turn off individual lights. It's usable, but sometimes it's inconvenient when you only need one or two lights. Thirdly, the control button for the sheer curtain is out of order. Fourthly, there's a non-functional music control switch in the shower, which is a bit exposed and could be dangerous. Fifthly, the internet speed is inconsistent – it's generally usable, but not quite good enough for gaming or downloading.
