Great
GGuest UserThis is a newly opened Hyatt hotel, and for the local area, the price offers decent value for money! The hotel's environment and cleanliness are good, but overall it's quite mini and cramped. The front desk is located on a half-level, making it very inconvenient to move luggage up and down. The automatic escalator's speed switch operates too slowly. During check-out, the front desk staff was very busy, and I had to wait a long time for them to assist with the elevator. Next, let's talk about the room. It's relatively spacious and bright, and very clean. However, the hallway is narrow, and the Asian staff start cleaning very early in the morning, making a lot of noise. I've already raised this issue with the manager! The soundproofing in the room isn't great, and the toilet is problematic – it doesn't flush completely in one go. The strangest electrical issue in the room is that it's sensor-based. If you're lying in bed using your phone, after a few minutes, it fails to detect anyone in the room and the power just cuts out!

GGuest UserVisited during Chinese New Year, so Sydney hotels were all overpriced. I chose Morris based on its price and location. First, the location is quite good. Navigation suggested getting off at Museum Station, but Central Station feels closer. The hotel sign is on the exterior wall, so it's easy to miss if you're not paying attention. There's no disabled access at the entrance – you have to carry your luggage up and down stairs every time you enter or exit. Be aware that the ground floor is a restaurant, and the restaurant's front desk doubles as the hotel's front desk; I initially thought I'd gone to the wrong place! The overall vibe is very Australian. I booked a room with a window, and got one with a window facing a wall. Since the front desk staff only spoke English and I was only staying for one night, I didn't bother asking to switch. The room was quite small. Breakfast is à la carte, but it was delicious! It's probably the same standard as the restaurant downstairs. A meal plus a drink would cost over 30 dollars. The lady taking orders was very enthusiastic! (If you're not confident in your English, I wouldn't really recommend this place; it feels a bit too 'local'. My poor English made ordering a bit nerve-wracking, haha).

HHuanyoushijiedewaerFacilities: The hotel's facilities are pretty standard, the furniture is old, and there's nothing particularly special about it. The lobby environment, in particular, is quite ordinary and small. Hygiene: Overall, the room's cleanliness was very good, but the sofa was dirty with many stains. Service: The front desk staff were unenthusiastic, especially one male wearing glasses. He spoke English very quickly, which made communication difficult for those not fluent in English, wasting a lot of time during check-in. Environment: The hotel generally lacks distinct features. They promote an eco-friendly concept, but a smoke alarm will trigger if you don't close the bathroom door tightly while showering. This wasn't communicated to us, which gave us a fright. We only later found a warning on the bathroom glass, which isn't ideal, especially for non-English speakers who wouldn't notice it at all.

GGuest UserThe family room was quite spacious, and the hotel's location in Chinatown made dining incredibly convenient. The Hong Kong-style cafe downstairs had delicious food. The front desk staff were also very welcoming and enthusiastic.

WWishiwashiOverall, it is worth it for its location and price within Sydney CBD. You can have a room of decent size without burning a hole in your pocket. While it is not a fancy hotel and has been refurbished, you can still see some dents and marks on the walls. However, it is clean and comfortable. One thing to note: the hotel informed me that the reception would open at 7 AM. When I arrived, there was no one to be seen, and I didn’t have a data SIM that could make local calls. Eventually, I asked a friendly local to borrow their phone to make the calls. It was a bit inconvenient.

GGuest UserMy stay at Meriton Suites Campbell Street was fantastic. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of Chinatown, steps from the Capitol Theatre, and just minutes from the light rail and Central Station . The suite was incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and had everything I needed: a full kitchen, internal laundry, and a very comfortable bed . The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting a central base with plenty of room to relax.

GGuest UserIt's about a 15-minute walk from the central train station, and the route is quite easy to navigate. The room has a kitchen, but you need to call to have the cooking utensils delivered. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, including a Chao Fa Chaoshan hotpot restaurant downstairs.

SSchmophieThe location was super, right in the center and only a 30-minute walk to the Opera House. However, the people there tend to stick to their own groups, and it's really hard to strike up a conversation, so it's not ideal for solo travelers. The kitchen was okay, adequately equipped. Unfortunately, the rooms didn't have curtains on the beds (which were very shaky), and there are only lockers that you have to pay for. They don't explain much to you; you have to figure out where everything is and how it works yourself (for example, that you need to bring an extra cooler bag with a zipper)... If you can, try not to get a room facing outwards – there's so much noise all night long that even earplugs won't help. So, overall, it's pretty mediocre. The location is good if you're out and about all day anyway and just need a place to sleep.

GGuest UserThe location is great, but the building is quite old, so you can definitely feel its age. It seems like maintenance needs more attention. The shower head and the toilet flush button had minor issues, but they weren’t too inconvenient. I informed reception after checking out.

GGuest UserGreat location, very budget building, toilets and showers very basic and outdated but capsule quite pleasant, new and roomy, USB outlet wasn't working to charge phone on capsule so front counter staff gave me a power bank who h was great of them. Front of house staff usually only around during check in times, bring a towel or they will charge you for one. You get a free locker of decent size to store your things which is a bonus. Fantastic China town cbd location with access to trams and buses within 100m.
