Amazing
GGuest UserFantastic hotel in the heart of Ghent! The staff were friendly, the room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. Perfect location for exploring the city. Highly recommend
MMax017The best hotel we’ve had so far! Room comes with a mini kitchen (fridge, induction cooker, microwave, pans, and utensils). There was even Nespresso machine and pods. The facilities are modem and the place is clean. The staffs are friendly plus you can buy Ghent city card at the counter! You can walk to the old town in about 15 minutes or take the bus which is just a few minutes walk away from the hotel. Highly recommended and will definitely come back here.
LLonely ExplorerHotel Carlton in Ghent offers a warm welcome, spacious rooms, and excellent cleanliness. The staff are genuinely helpful, breakfast is generous, and transport links are convenient. It’s quiet yet close to the historic center, making it a comfortable, great-value base for exploring the city for leisure travelers and short stays.
DDiane PHHands down best view from the room! Booked another night as I had a really good impression and experience - wish I had stayed longer! Bed is comfy and the room is...roomy enough. The ladies at the front were exceptionally accommodating for when I had issues checking out and checking back in. Staff is overall awesome! The only shower room is fairly well kept. For a small amount there will be everything that you will/might need: from towels, laundry/dryer, tea/coffee/beer/snacks, luggage storage, to kayaks. Didn't have to use the common kitchen but it seemed equipped. Really can't go wrong with the location - everything is within reach and the are is just simply beautiful day/night.
XXMHACTCBig and clean rooms, great location (right next to a tram station) and view outside the window. High quality slippers provided. Not so expensive compared to other hotels in Ghent. Warm welcome with lots of gifts. The structure of the building and the room is very interesting. Drawbacks: A little bit dark inside at night. The window could not be closed completely. Some of the rooms have a toilet downstairs and sink upstairs, which is not convenient (I pointed this out and they quickly changed my room without extra charge). It took the reception at least 10 mins to find my stored luggage when leaving.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location, close to the castle and suitable for walking. There is a tall lady at the front desk who is very enthusiastic. It is a five-star service when she is there. The hotel is also very clean and reasonably priced. It is worth staying.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the old town, close to the attractions, just a few minutes' walk away. Ghent has beautiful scenery, just walk along the river. At sunset, take a boat tour on the river and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the river bank day and night. There is a local market in the big square next to the hotel, which is only open on Friday mornings.
TTak ChiGenerally the cleanliness of lobby floor public areas and room were above average 👍🏻👍🏻 Need to be careful when driving into that expo , ikea and the hotel zone as they located along with each others and shared the same directory board which the indicator bit small you might miss the hotel car park entrance The front staff he is super friendly and helpful 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I would say the amenities is worth for the price 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
GGuest UserThe best thing about this hotel is that it's right next to the train station, just a three-minute walk away. It's incredibly convenient for travelers with large suitcases. The owner is also very helpful.
