Overall, we felt very comfortable in this hotel. The price/performance ratio is fair. The furnishings and furniture are a bit worn, but OK. Will we come back again? Of course!

Everything was wonderful, the hotel was clean, new, and modern, the room had white LED lighting and a hairdryer. The pool was large with a jacuzzi next to it, and the breakfast was great, well-served, and included healthy vegetarian options. It's close to the beach, although not the best location considering the surrounding area below the sea dredging line, it's very easy to walk to the beach. The reception staff were excellent and friendly, the cleanliness impeccable, and the hotel is beautiful.

The hotel is well located, but for the price charged, there are better options in terms of room quality and breakfast.

I had been to this hotel ,as a guest several times. There were always minor issues with the property, but this last time was the last straw. I had booked my room months ahead, and had requested a high floor ,with double bed, but instead when I arrived, they put me in a room on the first floor ,with single beds. and a view to an electric fence. When entering the room, I could realize issues already. The key card should be put in the slot inside the room to keep the electricity functioning ,however it was not working properly, the power was cut off several times. While having a shower, the electricity was cut off . I had to call someone to come and fix it, eventually someone came to change the whole keycard slot on the wall . The room was extremely rundown ,with an old table ,rusty fridge, and in the toilet there was a leakage on the ceiling, dropping water on the floor, making it quite slippery. Some of the floor tiles were missing as well. By then I had spent most of my time after arrival trying to sort out issues with Hotel. Next morning they moved to the other hotel from the same chain, as an upgrade, but it wasn’t what I was expecting. I expected to stay in the hotel and room that I had originally booked online ,not something else. The whole experience was really annoying and frustrating, I felt totally misled, neglected and taken for granted.

Beautiful terrace are under the trees and by the pool. They didn’t do any packed breakfast which was a shame as we had breakfast included but we had to leave earlier than the breakfast time. You can walk to the coast or get taxis, and taxis (which are affordable) was the only way to get to the good restaurants so don’t expect to freely walk everywhere from this hotel.

HOTEL BEM LOCALIZADO, COM RESTAURANTE BOM E CAFÉ DA MANHÃ ECXXELENTE. A ESTRUTURA DO HOTEL É BOA, PORÉM NÃO FOI DISPONOIBILIZADO TODOS OS ITENS DE COZINHA INFORMADOS NA RESERVA, COMO MICROONDAS E CHALEIRA ELÉTRICA. O APARTAMENTO É ESPAÇOSO, CAMA CONFORTÁVEL E CHUVEIRO EXCELENTE. NO GERAL VALEU A PENA, INCLUSIVE O CUSTO BENEFÍCIO. RECOMENDO.

Located a block from the beach, no real view of the ocean. Web page says no parking available, but upon further inquiry learned that 'rotating' parking is available, which means that if you snag a parking spot (valet) on check in and you do not move your car, you're good, but if you use your vehicle you might have lost your spot on return and be forced to find a (very rare) street slot or pay for optional private parking. That is a HUGE deficiency for a 19 story hotel. Room was fine, albeit a bit spartan. Towels were grey from age. Hot water marginal. Shower had slick floor and no hand holds. Wi-fi good. Mini fridge (empty) and safe. A/c worked fine. Staff appeared friendly and forthcoming, but when I requested an additional pillow, the desk clerk said he'd get it done, but never did and there are no instructions on the room phone to call the front desk. Breakfast is ok, but nothing to write home about either (no tapioca, cut up hot dogs instead of bacon or carne do sol, not even a banana, but other fruits, and fresh bread, pao com queixo without queixo . . .) Easy walking distance to the beach and several quality off-beach restaurants, such as Ghellers churrascaria. For someone looking for a reasonably priced and adequate hotel near the beach, this works fine. If needing just an overnight, look further away from the beachfront and be careful about the parking issue if driving a car.
