"Value for money.  Room is spacious and balcony is a plus.  Bathroom however is comparatively small.  I guess a bigger guy will have difficulty to turn around inside!   Reception is helpful and pleasant with poor English.  Luckily my poor Mandarin is able to communicate with them.  LOL.  Btw, a pleasant stay."

"The room was spacious even though the hotel is located in the middle of Osaka downtown. Breakfast was one of the best I have ever had in Japan w fresh salmon and tuna! Onsen was great and all free ice candy, ramen, and Yakurt were nice plus!!! We will definitely come back again!"

"The hotel reception staffs are warm and polite, and try their best to meet the needs of guests. There are soothing hot springs to help soothe overworked feet! After soaking in the hot springs, you can enjoy popsicles and lactic acid drinks. Free ramen is also provided in the evening. The breakfast included in the hotel is worth the money. It is a hotel worth recommending."

"The hotel was accommodating, we bought from stuff from Tokyo and had it shipped to Osaka 4 days in advance, the hotel kept our stuff way in advance. Check in supposed to be at 3pm, we arrived at 1pm (not expecting the rooms to be ready but it was!) and managed to check in. The whole hotel is shoes off (tatami style) - so you either leave your shoes at the shoes locker or bring them up to your room. Room is definitely small (as per most Jap hotels) but it was still considered slightly bigger than other hotels. Location was good because it was just beside Dotonburi street. Nambai station was also just a traffic light away. There was a 7/11 just next to the hotel which was very convenient. The hotel provides free udon from 930pm to 11pm and free probiotic drink from 10am! and free ice cream in the evening too. The onsen was small but it was good to have onsen after tiring and long day. The only downside I felt was the hotel was very very crowded (might be due to holidays in HK/Taiwan). There is no housekeeping services so you need to put your towels and trash outside your door every morning and they will replace new towels for you. But no changing of bedsheets etc."

"Candeo Namba Osaka is one of my favorite hotels. It’s simple and straightforward, yet it perfectly fills all the essentials I need. The location is excellent—less than 200m from the airport transfer stop to Doton Plaza—so carrying luggage around is incredibly easy. It’s also close to many amenities and eateries, all within walking distance of Dotonbori and the river. The hotel staff are experienced, friendly, and always do their best to help. Overall, the hotel offers everything you need at a reasonable and decent price. And the breakfast is great!"
