"The hotel is located at a very central location which is just next to the shopping street. A lot of restaurants are nearby. The room is spacious. The hotel facilities are basic but sufficient."
"The hotel is right next to JR Kochi, very convenient. This hotel looks very new, staff is nice, super great nippon breakfast, the room is very hygiene, shower head is strong, air-con is good."
"You can see it’s a bit old hotel but the twin room we got was not too small unlike typical business hotel. There are signs of care of the people running the hotel, since as the staff, cleanliness, and so on. Reasonable for the location."
"Clean hotel with great staff and service. The best thing is definitely the location which steps out into the main arcade. Family mart down below and affiliated parking available for reasonable price (although car park is 4min walk from hotel). The only thing was that their coin laundry within the hotel absolutely does not work. Ran drying 3 times and clothes still came out wet. Just go to another external laundry service if needed."
"Although I only stayed overnight, the room was spacious and comfortable. I stayed multiple nights, and there were restaurants nearby, so I was able to enjoy a typical Kochi meal. The parking attendant was friendly and I was a little happy to talk to me."
"ANA Crowne Plaza Kochi by IHG was relaunched recently on Aug 1, 2026. Breakfast was included in the booking and it had a good selection of both Japanese and Internatijal selections. Our room slept 3 with a king size bed and a sofa bed. We saw the ANA crew arrived and checked into the hotel. Parking is 1500 Yen per night which is a great price. The location is close to the Kochi Castle and the Sunday Market and lots of good restaurants in the nearby shopping street. There is a gym but no swimming pool though."

Great
AAnonymous UserThe hotel offers traditional Japanese hospitality in a renovated setting. The view from the rooftop bath is amazing as well as the kaiseki cuisine.
GGuest UserA very modern hotel with happy colors all around. Room is spacious and comfy. Breakfast offers an array of choices. Even the souvenirs shop at the lobby offers products of great designs. Overall ambience gives a wonderful feel.
GGuest UserHotel is in front of JR Kochi Station. Location is very strategic. We booked twin bed and the room is quite big. This is one of the best (3 star hotel) that we stayed when we visit shikoku area.
GGuest UserThe atmosphere of the people at the reception was also good and very kind and comfortable. In addition, the two female staff at the restaurant that I used for breakfast were very kind and the food was delicious and I was very satisfied. My daughter who likes Anpanman was happy to receive an Anpanman toy. thank you very much. I was a little worried about the dust accumulated in the corner of the door of the room, but other than that, it was clean and I was able to stay with my children, so that was helpful. The elevator smelled of smoke, but I think this is a problem of the guests who stayed and not a problem of the hotel.
TTraveller CThe hotel is dated but has lots of charm! Yes, the fittings and furniture is old and outdated but everything is working as it should. The room (twin room) was generous in space by Japan standards. Here are some plus points about the hotel: 1) The windows can be opened fully to allow generous amounts of wind in (not the usual small openings). 2) The hotel staff are so generous and kind, they allowed us to check-in early and check-out late without charge! This is also the reason why we will definitely stay here again if we are in Kochi. 3) Hotel is located in the heart of all the bars (there were hoards of salarymen hanging around the area in the night and it gets very lively) 4) It’s a cosy hotel with no frills (so bring your own shampoo and conditioner if you are fussy about it). To manage your expectations, note the following: 1) It’s an old establishment, so don’t expect everything to be sparkling new or matching. No usb outlet charging as well. 2) Due to the location, you might hear lots of street noise if you open the windows at night. All in all, a wonderful little charming hotel, run by people who have the interests of their guests. Highly recommended!
