There are plenty of small shops nearby, making an evening stroll around Shimizu very pleasant. Dining options are also relatively inexpensive. It's very close to Shimizu Station, so you can easily find places to go and eat nearby. There's also a 24-hour AEON supermarket not far away, which is very convenient. The room was cozy and comfortable, and I was very satisfied!

It was a non-smoking twin. I was told at the front desk that it was ”small”, but I thought it was good to be honest. Even though the arrival was later than the scheduled time, we were greeted brightly. The breakfast bread is delicious and I want to visit again!

This trip was a road trip, and this hotel was very convenient for travelers with cars. There was free and ample parking, making parking easy. The hotel also had a large public bath; a soak after returning to the hotel was incredibly relaxing. The rooms were clean and had plenty of space for luggage. The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was a buffet – definitely worth a try! The hotel has a restaurant open until 10 PM, convenient for those returning late. There are two chain restaurants within a three-minute walk of the hotel.

The boss couple are very nice. We asked them a lot of questions, and they answered them patiently. They even made a special call for us to ask. We booked the largest tatami room, and it was no problem to put four mats in it. There is a lot of space. The room is big, the room is very clean, the linen is clean and fresh, there is no noise at all when sleeping at night, the facilities are complete and operating normally, the cleaning ladies are very friendly and have bright smiles!
The two children rolled, fought and had a lot of fun in the room. Both the adults and children slept well and the bed was very comfortable. It was a great experience! !
After checking out, our bus hadn't arrived yet, so we went back to the lobby sofa to rest and wait. The boss still entertained us warmly. The lady boss also brought us water and snacks. The service was so good that we were embarrassed. It’s trouble for them!

The hotel is new and clean. If you like tatami smell, this is the hotel you would like. The hotel staffs are nice and professional. We had no problem to communicate. It was nice experience. If one day I will come back 清水, I will definitely come back here.

The room offers an expansive view with stunning scenery! You could easily spend a day relaxing on the lawn. We were lucky enough to catch an evening event, so we enjoyed beautiful fireworks from our room's balcony every night. The sunsets and dusk were absolutely breathtaking from the room.
The hotel thoughtfully added an extra bed for our child and provided kids' toiletries, which was a nice touch.
The front desk service was excellent, and their English pronunciation was very clear.
The hotel mainly caters to Japanese locals, with rooms featuring both Japanese and Western styles. The environment is quiet, comfortable, and very peaceful.

It's an old hotel, so it's generally tidy except for the moldy wallpaper condition. It's not soundproof, but it's not enough to sleep. Compared to a general business hotel, the cost performance is very good, so if you want cost performance, it is recommended.

**Environment:** You can get here by taking the airport shuttle to the final stop, Shin-Shizuoka or Shizuoka JR Station, then it's about a ten-minute walk straight ahead. It's really convenient, and super close to Don Quijote! It was so easy to grab things late at night.
**Cleanliness:** The room was small but very new and clean. The large public bath on the 14th floor was super relaxing for both soaking and using the sauna. There were hardly any people, so you pretty much had it all to yourself.
**Facilities:** The breakfast was absolutely delicious! I stayed for three days, and the variety changed every day. Every dish was exquisite and tasty, clearly prepared with care. The iced coffee was incredibly good, not bitter or sour – I regret not having more cups! 🤣 From 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM, they also offer free salad and curry rice. Paired with a melon soda, looking out at Shizuoka during the 'blue hour' was just delightful!
**Service:** If you're staying at the beginning and end of your trip, you can store your luggage for free during the days in between, which is super friendly for multi-day travelers!

The women's section requires a separate key card for entry, which feels very secure. Everyone staying here is quite considerate, so there's no disturbance. It's also a short walk to Shizuoka Station. I'll definitely come back next time!

There's a big Lawson convenience store downstairs, so you can grab breakfast, drinks, or anything else anytime. It's super convenient for getting anywhere. 위위지니I had a very pleasant stay at Garden Hotel Shizuoka. The location is excellent, with easy access to Shizuoka Station, shopping areas, and plenty of nearby restaurants, which made getting around very convenient.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing a relaxing space after a day of sightseeing.
I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to rest.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in and check-out were smooth but one thing that surprised and slightly confused me at first was that the front desk is located on the highest floor rather than the main floor, which is quite uncommon, but it was easy to find once I realized

OOsama BoussifThe hotel was located about 3 to 4 minutes walking distance from Shizuoka Station, and there was a 7-Eleven at the base of the hotel, so you could even walk there in your pyjamas because you didn’t have to go outside.
The hotel room was nice and spacious enough for two people, and it had all the amenities we needed. The laundry room was really good and was one of the few, if not the only, laundry rooms I encountered where you could pay with cash, card, or even online (Google Pay, Apple Pay, etc.).
One thing worth mentioning is that the hotel did not have a smart TV, so YouTube or other streaming services were not available. This is something you sometimes miss when you return to your room early in the evening. This does not require replacing the TV, but simply adding a Google or Android TV dongle, which I would also suggest as an improvement.
The only downside of the hotel was that the staff spoke or understood only limited English. In most cases this is manageable, because you do not need much beyond check-in, check-out, sending your luggage, or asking for an iron. However, in my case it involved renting a parking spot. Even though I used translation apps and tried my best to communicate, and the staff also did their best to understand and translate their side, it still did not work out. I ended up renting a parking spot just 2 minutes walking distance from the hotel in a public parking garage.
In the end, this was not a problem, as you pay the same fee (1000 yen) for parking either behind the hotel or in the public garage 2 minutes away. However, my suggestion for the hotel would be to provide an English instruction sheet explaining what to do, where to park, and how the parking process works, so that future guests who wish to park will have clear information.

CchaospittSHNot great. It's located in a lively bar district, and there's no convenience store nearby. The worst part is that it's quite a long walk from Shizuoka Station, and the pavement is uneven. The decor seems to be from the previous hotel, so many things feel old. I've stayed at a Koko hotel in Kumamoto before, and my whole family was very happy with it, but I won't be choosing this particular Koko in Shizuoka again.

JJUNHO(I stayed at the Ezaki building) The interior facilities are very good. There are two shower rooms in the duplex-type independent building, so it is spacious and nice. There is a bit of a distance between the check-in counter and the accommodation, but... a red-haired English-speaking staff member at the check-in counter personally guides you. He is very funny. I have been to Japan many times, but this was the first time I had a language barrier like this, but I can't tell you how good it was to communicate with this person in English. The room is clean, and there are two beddings except for the bed, but it is not just a mat, but a topper, so it is comfortable enough, and the bed is also comfortable and nice. The service cookie is just Lotus flavored.
They gave me a drink coupon as a welcome drink, but I couldn't use it, which was a shame. A convenience store is also about 5 minutes away?? Unlike regular hotels, you have to take off your shoes to enter, so it was more convenient, and anyway, the facilities are good and clean, so it was nice. There are department stores, shopping malls, Wasabi House, drugstores, Nanaya, and other shopping streets within 10-15 minutes, so it's good.
The only downside is that security can be a bit weak...? Since it's Japan, there's no such risk burden, but it feels that way.
It's a structure where you enter by holding the door lock key behind the wall, but um... (see photo) Anyway, that's it... So there's a little noise from cars passing by. But it's okay. Everything is great. Oh, and the doorbell sound was also the convenience store bell sound, so it was funny ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ If you're thinking about going here, it might be good to go ㅎㅎ
Oh, another interesting thing is that you can send various inquiries or things you need to know before check-in through email chat starting the day before check-in.

MMochatabiI didn't have high expectations because it was an older hotel, but I booked it because of the great location. The lobby was clean and newly renovated, which made a great first impression, and the staff was very friendly. It was a standard single, but the room wasn't too small and the bed was spacious, making it perfect for a solo traveler. The bathroom was also newly renovated and clean. It's ideally located for Shizuoka Station, Shin-Shizuoka Station, restaurants, and shopping.

HHYUNHWAIts excellent proximity to Shizuoka Station made it incredibly convenient for day trips to places like Atami and Fujinomiya. A major plus was being able to drop off our luggage early if we arrived before check-in, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Breakfast was wholesome and delicious, and the option to take coffee to go made it perfect for a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood afterwards. If I ever visit Shizuoka again, I would definitely want to stay here.

島島魚The location is right after the interchange.
It's within 30 minutes from both Shimizu Port and Nihon-daira, so it's very accessible.
The Sawayaka Shizuoka Inter store, which I was looking for, was also a 3-minute walk away, so it was the best location for this trip.
I was also very grateful for the permanent sauna.
It was the Obon period, and there were foreign guests staying there, so it was almost full, but the sauna was almost never used and it was almost reserved for us.
It's a pretty authentic sauna with aromatic water, you can do loyly freely, and it's outdoors, so I think it's the best sauna if you choose the right season.
(I used it during the Obon period, so the cold bath was too warm and I couldn't fully relax.)
The staff were very kind, and there were always staff on hand who were very conscious about customer service.
I think the free drinks are a great way to differentiate the place.
The all-you-can-drink craft beer was great.
There was also all-you-can-drink lemon water and soft drinks, so I was able to enjoy a leisurely drink in the open space instead of having to drink in my room.
I think it's very good considering the cost performance.
