The reception staff was extremely helpful, from guiding me around the city to any other requests I had I was unwell on my last days in Yangon and the staff helped me with a late checkout I appreciate all their help and assistance and extremely good service The hotel is in the middle of china town and lots of shops and hawkers for food and fresh fruit are around Hotel is walking distance to downtown and sule pagoda

I stayed overnight in Yangon. I was able to check in early in the morning, so I had a great rest. The hotel was in a great location, and I was very satisfied. I would definitely stay here again.

It is such a nice hostel, well located not far away from Main Street with bars but so quiet. Also stuff are very nice and pleasant

The hotel is conveniently located right next to Junction City shopping mall and directly across from Holy Trinity Cathedral. It's also adjacent to Bogyoke Aung San Market, where you can find jewelry and other goods. Shwedagon Pagoda, Chinatown, and other attractions are all within walking distance, and Shwedagon Pagoda is just a 6-minute drive away, making it incredibly convenient for both shopping and sightseeing. The hotel boasts four specialty restaurants and one bar, catering to diverse tastes. Hai Tien Lo is an award-winning Cantonese restaurant offering stunning views of the Yangon River and Shwedagon Pagoda. Saan restaurant serves international cuisine all day, while Pacific Marketplace provides a lavish breakfast with a wide array of dishes including Okonomiyaki and Indian food. The Teak Bar allows guests to enjoy cocktails with panoramic views of the Yangon skyline. Unfortunately, when we visited, there was only a menu but no staff, possibly due to fewer guests in winter. The infinity pool on the third floor is a major highlight of the hotel. Despite being in the bustling city center, it offers excellent views and scenery, perfect for photos. It's open from 6:30 AM to 8:30 PM and features a poolside bar. The adjacent gym is well-equipped with new facilities, and guests can access it at night with their room key. The hotel also offers sauna and spa facilities, ideal for relaxation. This time, I stayed on the 10th floor, and the room felt a bit dated. The rooms on the 13th floor have already been renovated and are quite grand. Speaking of grand, I have to mention the lobby on the R floor – it's very stylish. Just look at the pictures! Balmi Hotel is located in the heart of the city, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the room was reasonably clean, offering a comfortable stay. However, I did encounter an issue that needs attention. I spotted two small cockroaches during my stay. While this did not ruin my experience, it needs to improve pest control measures. Addressing this would greatly enhance the overall quality of the stay. Despite this, Balmi has a lot to offer and could easily be a top choice for travelers once this issue is resolved.

This is perhaps one of few premium hotels that are still considerate to smoking patrons and offer smoking rooms which is why I selected it. My room was on the 3rd floor, with direct access to the pool. The room was clean, spacious and modestly comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent, delivering wide assortment and variety. There is a night club on site, however closed with anticipated opening from April 2026. The gym is clean and fully equipped. Look forward to staying here again.

The restaurant air conditioner is not cool. 4. There is not much food to choose from. 5. The room is very small. 6. Not worth the price paid 7. The internet signal is not very strong. Overall the hotel needs to improve a lot.

A beautifully preserved colonial-style hotel right in the heart of the city. From the moment you step inside, you feel as though you’ve travelled back in time. Hotel G Yangon is a very modern and stylish hotel with a great atmosphere. Everything is extremely clean and well maintained. The entire staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful – truly one of the highlights of the stay. The location is excellent, and having security on site at night adds an extra sense of safety. Overall, a fantastic place to stay in Yangon. Highly recommended!
