Hotels near Khao Mai Kaew Cave, Koh Lanta

This was my second time staying here, I came here last year and didn’t think twice to stay somewhere new on the island. Lanta@home is a wonderful place to stay. The man and his wife who run the hotel are absolutely lovely people, honestly some of the kindest people I have ever met I’d say. They always greet you with big smiles and are super accommodating and friendly. Lanta@Home is very clean and safe and is in a great location - minutes from the beach, restaurants, and place to rent a motorbike to explore the island. 10/10, highly recommend.

Upon arrival at Lanta Triple Novel, we were warmly greeted by the owner, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. His hospitality truly made us feel at home, assisting us with everything we needed. We stayed in the bungalows, which were spacious and well-equipped. There was a clothes drying rack inside and another on the porch—this was the first hotel where we had ample space to dry our clothes. The porch was furnished with plastic chairs and a table, perfect for relaxing outdoors. The bungalow featured a small kitchenette accessible from the porch through a side door, which is convenient if you're planning a longer stay. Inside, there was a small plastic wardrobe for storing clothes and a mini-fridge. The only thing missing was a table and two chairs inside the room, which would have added to the comfort. The air conditioning was strong and kept the room cool. The location was very quiet, allowing us to rest peacefully. The only minor inconvenience was during heavy rain when the metal roof became quite loud. We rented a scooter from the owner at a decent price, making it easy to explore the island. Although there's a restaurant as part of the hotel, we didn't have the time to dine there. Originally, we planned to stay for three days but ended up extending our stay to four because we enjoyed it so much. The location is perfect—it's close to the beach, and there's a 7-Eleven just around the corner where you can get everything you need for your stay. It's a 4-minute drive to Saladan Pier, so you'll have an easy time catching ferries or speedboats for further travel. Overall, our experience at Lanta Triple Novel was excellent. The friendly owner, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location made our stay memorable. Everything Perfect, great staff great Breakfast great Beach

Great location and an access direct to the beach which is very secluded and awesome. The staff were great, just next time hopefully there is insurance for the motorbike rentals. Overall great stay and would highly recommend. Would definitely come back next time.

We arrived at Thip Hoise after a very long day travelling from Koh Lipe and were met with a warm welcome.  The owner was lovely.. helped us with restaurant and taxi recommendations.  The hotel is tranquil and has a lovely quiet pool area. The place is absolutely spotlessly clean with big beds and a hot shower and the staff are lovely.  Thip House is on the edge of the main beaches but you can walk to Khon Klong beach in about 10mins.  We had a very nice time and would definitely recommend a stay at Thip House.

Pleasant stay, peaceful place, hosts available for everything.

A beautiful setting, only downside we booked for 3 adults but there was only one large bed. But that was quickly sorted out. The breakfast was great and the staff very pleasant. We asked if we had to book for the massage, the lady said no and when my husband wanted to get a massage she refused because she had reservations. Not cool.

There is breakfast, it is a case, the environment is very good, very feeling, very quiet, the beach is beautiful, the sunset is super beautiful, the hotel rents a motorcycle is very convenient, 250 plants solve the traffic problem one day.

We stayed over NYE in a Deluxe Villa. It was great for the 2 of us. The room was clean, the beds were comfy and House keeping came everyday and cleaned the room, changed towels and topped up the glass bottled water. This place is on an island- there will be insects and bugs! They didn’t bother us. Shower pressure was good, there was ample of hot water and the bathroom size was good! We had stayed in a standard room before NYE and then came back to Royal Lanta after staying in Ko Phi Phi. The staff really make this place- always friendly and helpful and will go the extra mile if you show basic manners and respect. In the short time we were gone the sun lounger mattresses and umbrellas had an upgrade and on NYE all guests received a thank you letter and bottle of wine. The resort does need some improvements but overall we really enjoyed our stay, the staff were awesome and we would stay here again during peak time.

Lovely place, very clean. We booked a Villa, very spacious, the furniture looks ok and the bed was very comfortable. It ia perfect for families as well, the are 2 pools ( one is right in front of the vila) and the waterpark. Recommend the place!
