GGuest UserOur ocean-facing room was very nice facing the bay area with a beautiful view. The room was comfortable and well maintained. You can watch the sunset while sipping coffee from the balcony overlooking the bay. The hotel staff is courteous and friendly and helpful with our queries. The Christmas decor in the lobby was was beautiful. Definitely recommend to stay in this hotel.

GGuest UserInitially, when we first arrived, I didn't really understand what kind of place it was. There is a construction site around, fences on the way to the beach, a disco on the beach at night, to which we didn't immediately understand how to get. But then I appreciated all the advantages of the location of this hotel. 5 minutes in one direction and you are in the European restaurant Papa's. 5 minutes in the other and you are on the beach with a shower. There are several supermarkets nearby, if you need to buy more, you can take a taxi to Winmart. Of the entertainment nearby attractions, you can also try yourself in a nearby casino, and go on a sea cruise on Halong Bay. Just wonderful. We wanted to stay for a week, but we decided to extend our stay for more. The fact that many hotels around are closed is wonderful! But the beach is empty, by the way, no sand fleas were found on it. And a lot of cafes and restaurants with delicious food in any direction of the coast. We didn't make a mistake with the choice of place! As for the staff and the hotel itself, it is very friendly and polite. Cleanliness is fine, but I don't advise eating in the room so that there are no midges. There is water in the shower dripping on the floor in the toilet, but for this I will not lower the rating, for me this minus is insignificant. The beds are hard, but not a problem: in the closet you will find additional blankets that you can put for softness. In general, my recommendations! I'm glad we've been here

GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel because I am familiar with Novotel in Jakarta, Indonesia. I got a 10% discount by using Trip Coins. I really enjoy es my stay at Novotel Ha Long Bay. 1. The room is extremely spacious. I would say that 3 people moving around would be no problem at all. The bed is also large. 2. The amenities are superb, I got all I need and some of those are eco-friendly items. 3. Not only the bedroom, the bathroom is spacious too. Wow! 4. The staffs are humble and understanding. At first I requested a late checkout until 12.30, yet I changed it to 13.00 because I just got back from my friend’s wedding. Furthermore, they always helping me order Main Linh taxi. 5. Squeaky clean!!! I love clean property!!! Unfortunately, there is no bidet. Indonesians use bidet daily. There is no option a of Halal food, yet it is okay, that is just common in Vietnam. Overall, my experience was impressive to the point I even take photos for the purpose of reviewing how good this hotel was.
