"We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. When we checked in they upgraded our room to a business suite. This was so unexpected and we loved it! It was so comfortable and provide the perfect amount of space so when one needed to work in the evening, the other person wasn’t disturbed. The en-suite bathroom was fantastic - the dual vanity was perfect for both of us to get ready at the same time. Also, it had a massive bathtub and separate shower- great for those who might want to unwind after a long day. The bed was very comfortable and it had great sound proofing. The only drawback was that the AC didn’t work well in the suite- even though we tried to lower the temperature, we weren’t able to bring it lower than 25 degrees. As it is summer, being able to lower the AC would have been helpful as it did get a little stuffy in the room at night. The staff at the front desk were very helpful. From recommendations on how to visit several of the villages we were interested in going to, to recommendations for specific Guizhou dishes to try at the night market, they were so kind and pleasant. The day we checked out it was pouring. The staff were kind enough to lend us umbrellas so we could go for a short walk to get coffee before our trip to the train station. The facilities were great and well maintained. A good really gym with lots of equipment / treadmills/ weights etc so you could work out. It closes at 11pm (as does the laundry). They only have 2 washer/ dryer combinations so while laundry is free to do, it could take a while as the shortest wash cycle was approximately 30 min, and then you still had to factor in dry time (as it’s the same machine). The hotel is located in the center area so there are lots of shops, and huge underground mall, night market, parks, cafe and bakery all within walking distance. As it’s centrally located, it’s very easy for didi to find/ schedule pick up. We loved our time in Kaili and our stay at this hotel. We will definitely return for a second visit!"

"The price-performance ratio is very high, and it must be rated 5 points. The room area is not small at all, and the suitcase will not be in the way when it is spread out; the facilities and equipment are complete, and the bathrobe is praised; the hygiene is clean and refreshing. The only drawback is that the rooms facing west to the road are not very soundproof. If you need quietness, you can choose a room facing east."

"I spent two very relaxing days in the Miao village and I have to rave about it. I knew the scenery would be beautiful from the pictures before I arrived, but I was still stunned the moment I opened the window. The morning mist and night view of the Miao village unfolded before my eyes like a moving painting. The guesthouse is located in a quiet area, conveniently situated yet close to the bustling city. You can easily blend into the lively atmosphere while enjoying peace and quiet upon returning home. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly; it felt more like visiting old friends than staying at a guesthouse. They helped with my luggage, chatted with me over tea in the evenings, and gave me many helpful tips that only locals would know. The rooms were clean and tidy, making for a very comfortable stay. If you're looking for a place in Xijiang that offers both scenic views and a warm atmosphere, this is the place to go."

"I chose this hotel after seeing its overwhelmingly positive, mostly 5-star reviews, and it certainly didn't disappoint. Firstly, we were pleasantly surprised to receive an extra complimentary buffet meal (valued at 50), even though our deluxe double room booking only included two breakfasts. The breakfast itself was fantastic: served from 7 AM to 12 PM, with a wide selection that even included delicious beef noodles. From 2 PM, the lobby provides complimentary fruit and cake. Guests can also help themselves to coffee and herbal teas there throughout the day. All these amenities were of good quality. The room itself was quite luxurious and thoughtfully designed. A unique feature was having two toilets in the bathroom. They provided both regular and disposable towels, and similarly, reusable and disposable slippers, which were neatly arranged – a nice touch that made us feel well cared for. The mattress was a bit too soft for my preference. However, the hotel kindly provided a firmer mattress topper. While it wasn't a perfect solution, it definitely helped. The third floor also has some basic fitness equipment, which is sufficient for a quick workout. The only thing missing was a swimming pool."

"First of all, the hotel has a great location and view, and you can take beautiful photos from the room. But what's with the fleas all over the place? I didn't have any problems while sleeping at night, but when I woke up in the morning, I found four or five black spots on my ankles. I thought they were just bits of slipper flakes, but when I touched them, they jumped away. I was shocked. I've been to so many hotels, and this is a flea infestation. I'd rather be bitten by mosquitoes. This hotel costs over 600 yuan. I'm speechless."

"✨This time I visited Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, and the homestay I stayed in was simply amazing! 📍The location of the homestay is superb. You can get off at the scenic viewing platform. It is convenient to go anywhere. When you go out, you can see the stilt houses on the green hills. The scenery is beautiful. 🛏️The room is clean, tidy and warm. The bedding is soft and comfortable. I slept well for several days. There are also large floor-to-ceiling windows, which let in sunlight during the day and allow you to see the bright starry sky at night. 💁♂️The service is even better. The housekeeper is warm and thoughtful. From picking up at the viewing platform station, helping with luggage, to carefully explaining the travel guide, he is always responsive, which makes people feel particularly warm. The environment is beautiful and the facilities are complete. I highly recommend it to everyone!"

"The view from this Guesthouse was fantastic, the stairs to get to the Guesthouse a little difficult. If you are elderly or not fit maybe consider staying somewhere lower. In saying that the host was very helpful and carrying our bags up for us and he was very friendly and accommodating.  The town itself has become quite commercialised but it is still beautiful to see the architecture and go for a hike into the rice terraces. "

"The following three points deserve five-star praise: 1. Although the room is not big, it is warmly decorated and clean. Although the bathroom is outside, it is also for one person and very clean. 2. The panoramic view of the scenic area from the room is indeed better than the observation deck. The photos taken from the observation deck have the roof ridge, but the photos taken from the room do not. 3. The service attitude is good. When I went there, I couldn't find the hotel. I called to help pick up the luggage. When we left, we watched a performance at the Lusheng field, and the hotel helped to send the luggage there, which saved our time. Recommended to stay."

"Facilities: Well-equipped. Hygiene: The room was tidy, everything was neatly arranged, and there were no strange odors. Environment: Their common areas are very spacious, with a book bar, tea bar, and other lounge areas, as well as a scenic walkway and attic – very impressive. Service: The butler service was excellent. They contacted me a day in advance to provide directions and even helped carry my luggage, which really lightened my load. Miao Traditional Attire Experience: Their Miao costumes are authentic ceremonial outfits. Although you can only take photos within the inn, their photo spots are also excellent, making for a truly immersive experience. Self-service KTV: I was pleasantly surprised that their KTV is free to use. After a tiring day of sightseeing, you can go there to sing and relax. This place is really great. Overall, I think this inn is fantastic. Next time I come to Xijiang, Boyun will be my first choice."
