(It seemed to be a hotel more focused on locals rather than foreign tourists) It was clean and well heated. Winter equipment and furniture were also practical."

"For the record, I did not stay at the property. I was booked to stay for a tour of the castles. However, I was made redundant 1 month before the trip. I contacted the property asking to cancel the booking and a refund if they managed to rebook the rooms (as I booked on a no cancellation booking). They replied to say they would not, and would I no longer be attending? I appreciate it was not their fault, but if they could have rebooked the rooms, and not been out of pocket, was it too much to ask for a refund, with 1 months notice? Times are hard enough without people profiteering out of other’s misfortune."
