The Hido Hostel provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Hido Hostel is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Pingtung. In terms of transportation, Fangshan Station is approximately 43km away. The nearest railway station is Fangshan Station, approximately 43km away. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Space Wharf, Big Bay Beach and Frog Rock Marine Recreation Park all nearby. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. Guests tell us the location of this hotel is fantastic.
"There weren't enough hanging facilities for clothes, especially in the bathroom, making it a bit inconvenient to put clothes down. For a 4-day, 3-night stay, it would have been even better if the room had a balcony and bathtub to enjoy the sunshine… Due to the strong winds and rapid currents at the beach in front, swimming in the sea was not possible!
The hotel is very close to Kenting Main Street, less than a 5-minute walk. The street stalls on both sides are open from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM every evening, making it very lively; some liquor stalls stay open even longer."

西西瓜世界的猪Not on Kenting Street, but very close. Very quiet, looking out from the balcony is Kenting National Forest Park, blowing wind on the balcony at night is very comfortable! The rooms are quite large, with large wardrobes, the facilities are very clean, the owner is very good, helped to contact the snorkeling, the breakfast was made by myself, praise!

SSJJJJJThis guesthouse is excellent, and the owner is incredibly friendly and provides great service. The instant noodles and drinks in the lobby are all complimentary and self-service, which is super convenient for anyone wanting a late-night snack. The environment is lovely and very clean overall.

Everything is really good, it’s right beside the sea, balcony has a nice view of the sea, bed was comfortable, shower facilities are really nice with a bathtub and good soap. They even gave drip coffee packets! Really such a steal for the price. 7-11 is right beside so you can get your supper fixes here 😋
Keep in mind their check in timing is by 2100!

GGuest UserWonderful place, can't fault it. Perfect location, about 90 seconds walk from the bus station. Lovely room, very spacious and clean. Nice to have a relaxing chair, plus a desk and chair for sitting at. My room had a balcony, nice view and enjoyed relaxing sitting out there one of the nights. Breakfast isn't on site, but instead is vouchers for a nice café a few minutes up the high street, and I enjoyed their food a lot. Reception were very helpful and friendly when I arrived, and said hello every time I came in and out of the hotel. Will definitely book here again when I come back to the area.

The location of this hotel is very convenient — it is close to the beach and within walking distance to the night market, which is definitely a plus.
However, overall my stay was not very comfortable.
Inside the room, the floor is not completely even. While it may not seem like a big issue at first, it could easily become a tripping hazard, especially for older guests or anyone not paying close attention.
The bathroom is also not separated into dry and wet areas, which makes it more slippery and less convenient to use.
Another important point is that the hotel does not have an elevator. Carrying luggage up and down the stairs can be quite inconvenient, particularly for elderly guests or those with heavy bags.
Although the interior design may look quite stylish or luxurious at first glance, in reality it feels impractical and raises safety concerns. There are other small details as well, but I will not go into them here.
I understand that different properties have their own limitations, and I am sharing this from a personal perspective. I hope this information can be helpful for future travelers when making their decision.

GGuest UserJust across the street is the beach, and the place is beautifully designed, clean, and comfortable, with a great location near the aquarium. Breakfast was simple and nice with sandwiches.
The owner is extremely kind and helpful. We arrived late and nearby restaurants were closed, but the owner kindly helped order seafood dinner from a local restaurant for us — and it was delicious.
A truly warm and lovely place to stay.

Breakfast is mostly Chinese style. I think breakfast is very nutritious.
Cream and jam are individually packaged which is a plus
There is no parking space in the basement, so you need to park in the special parking lot in the next alley.
Only inconvenient when it rains
The hotel has a swimming pool, billiards and billiards in the basement.
It's quite nice. It won't be boring if it rains.
The hotel is of an old style, so the room and toilet should not be too demanding.
The air conditioner in the room is very cold
The hot water heats up quickly and the water flow is strong, making it easy to wash.
Unfortunately, the hair dryer is nailed to the wall.

TTina chang 5111The service attitude is very good, the CP value is high and breakfast is included, the room is clean, there is a swimming pool, children love it, it is a bit away from Kenting Street, but our itinerary is snorkeling in Houbi Lake, so the location is very good for us, overall They are great!
