JJiwoothAfter a trip to central Okinawa, I stayed the night before heading north. If you are traveling by renting a car, this is the best accommodation. The room is spacious and tidy without any stains. There is a microwave/gas stove/sink for cooking in the room, and a shared washing machine/dryer (200 yen each) outside. And there are beautiful and quiet beaches around just a few minutes' drive. It's a pity that I only stayed for one night because of the next schedule If I have the next chance, I want to stay for a few days and swim and snorkeling. The boss is also very kind. Highly recommended.

YYan ReevesWe had spent 4 nights at the hotel during the Golden Week which might have influenced the perception of service, but not dramatically.
Among the advantages of the hotel are: nice spacious rooms (ours had a stunning sea view); generally good location with beautiful nature and access to the beaches where you could actually swim (not a given on the island) - at least until the tide goes too low; reasonably good food across the restaurants with rather friendly prices; stylish bar with quality drinks.
Among the disadvantages are: very non-Japanese service (generally not very helpful, with low penetration of English among the staff) and lack of attention to detail that could make the resort actually very nice - again, not very typical case for Japan.
A few pieces of advice to the management:
1. Bring the option of in-room breakfast. If a guest is sick and can’t go down, it’s impossible to order in-room breakfast on the day, while rooms service opens at 11:30. Same frustration goes to the coffee stall downstairs that doesn’t serve coffee during earlier breakfast hours
2. Consider equipping rooms with coffee machines and contemporary electronics - low costs to take, yet massive disadvantage for the 5* status for not having them
3. Pay more attention to room service: we spent 48h without shampoo and shower gel. Our glasses were washed occasionally. New bottles of drinking water arrived only once.
4. Fix the beach! The amenities there look like a poor community beach area, especially those shameful umbrellas. You have reasonable amenities at the pool - why not spreading them to the beach areas to make them feel more like a resort rather than public beaches that no one gave any care?
5. Gym and SPA amenities could use a bit of refreshment. I won’t mention SPA service itself which might be a result of poor luck with the specific technician
6. Empty mini bar equals lost revenue. You could easily cover the modifications above through adding more options for people to enjoy drinks at their balconies.
What makes staying in Japan truly special - genuine care and attention to every detail - was completely missing over our stay at this Hyatt. In fact, we consistently had that feeling “this could actually be really nice” and then something would go terribly wrong with the awkward service. The hotel that looks like 5* on pictures leaves a 3* aftertaste at max. I am only writing this because I felt it didn’t have to - those are easy aspects to fix.

AAnonymous UserWonderful hosts.I stayed in the attached two-story townhouse. Upstairs was a roomy bedroom with 3 big-sized single beds. Downstairs had a new bathtub/shower combo in the bathroom. and roomy kitchen had all modern amenities and served as the family room. Great outdoor space for a BBQ or just to relax with some snacks and drinks. Best part was my dog could enjoy being inside and outside with no restrictions. Just be considerate with your pet. (pay pet fee upon check-in ¥1,100) Breakfast was delicious.

Especially in the morning, guests can have free coffee, take a bath in the morning sun while listening to the birds' voices on the outside terrace, and spend the best time ✨ The rooms are very clean and most amenities are available. The black sugar and walnut scones made by the wife were very delicious ✨ (１ 200 yen)
My husband is very kind and I will use this place when I come to Okinawa again ✨ There are seven and taverns in the neighborhood, but the night road is pitch black, so be careful. I got lost, I went to the grave village, and I was impatient. (laughter)

GGuest UserI was able to relax. The bed and futon were very comfortable and I had nothing to complain about. The laundry and gas dryer after coming back from swimming in the sea were also great, the laundry dried quickly, and the cookware and refrigerator were in good condition, so there was nothing to complain about.
It was a shame that there was a little green moss in the corner of the open-air bath and a spider web behind the dryer.
There are restaurants nearby within walking distance, and you can drink alcohol there, which is great 😃

There will be gecko and insects in the house. It is inevitable that the house is in the mountains, but those who like the ecological environment cannot miss it. When you open the door, there is a palm-sized cockroach lying at the door. By the way, their insects and gecko look very clean! Anyway, there is no problem living.

AansingiftIt seems that only the old man takes care of it, and many places can't take care of it, especially the kitchen and living room are still a bit messy, there is no coffee or tea. Japanese-style room with a floor shop. Compared with other accommodations, the price here is not low just because the location is good. In Guotou Village Forest Park, I go for a run in the morning and the park is closed due to the coronavirus. I ran to another entrance and turned around. There was no one in the park. It seemed that almost no one came in winter. There were many withered leaves on the path, and spider webs were often hung on the path. Parking is free. The refrigerator in the kitchen room is noisy.

GGuest UserThe homestay is on the hillside. I chose a sea view room. I can see the sea in the distance when I open the door. The price is really cheap. Breakfast needs to be reserved in advance, 900 yen.
And it feels like home, the room is also very large, and the shower water is also very large. Two nights here turned out to be the best two nights I slept in Okinawa.
The only downside is that the homestay is on the hillside. It is very exercised to climb up the gluteus muscle, especially dragging a big box, which is really tired, so it is really suitable for driving a family to live.
In addition, there are no street lights on both sides of the road at night, plus the mountain road is indeed a bit dark, I am a little scared by myself, but in fact, there is nothing quite safe. It has been raining in Okinawa before coming, but it was sunny on the day of check-in. Next to Enna Beach, you can go to the sun. It’s only a 15-minute walk away and there is a convenience store.
