"Great location,next to the castle and the market square. The room was clean and cozy although a bit small,but perfect for a weekend stay. The only minus there is no free car park for guests. Overall, good stay"

"the breakfast and service was very good the room was clean with a good bathroom,however the parking advertised as FREE is not free and when i qustioned the management team they were adamant i had to pay £8 to park my car no exceptions,i told him that it said FREE he said it does not say free and pay now i did pay and 24 hours later they did agree to repay me the £8,this could have been a good review i will not stay there again."

"Check in was very easy, paid for parking £18 a night, amenities and breakfast, evening meals all explained. Room was adequate for our needs. Limited storage space given a queen size bed. Bathroom was compact with all necessary linen supplied. Location of hotel was excellent for a short walk into town for shopping and entertainment."

"The location is nice and close to Nottingham Trent University, and about 20 minutes walk from Broadmarsh Bus Station and Nottingham Rail Station. Close to Old Market Square, a popular tourist spot in the city. Overall clean with a 360 degree turning fan which definitely keeps us cool amid heat waves in the United Kingdom."

"Good location- easy to find and close to the train station. We drove so used the car park in front of the hotel where there is a discount for staying at the hotel just let reception know you are parked there - is a set fee for 24hrs. Rooms were clean and quite basic but sufficient for what we needed - downside no fridge to chill your drinks. There is a kettle to make hot drinks and room has tv which is good. Ordered the breakfast which was lovely - options to have cereal, fruit,yoghurt,toast,pastries and a full English with coffee/tea and juice. Restaurant overlooks the river which was nice as we could see the ducks and swans Hotel has a bar which was nice to have a few drinks in the evening when we arrived Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful - would definitely go back if we needed to stay in Nottingham again Price was good value for money!"

"As i was attending a funeral of a dear family member, I was very pleased with the location and more importantly the cleanlines and stress free stay at the orchard hotel. My room was very spacious and clean. The staff were wonderful and helpful in every aspect. The food in the restaurant was above par and well deserved. a trip to Nottingham would definatly warrant a further stay at this hotel. 5 star for definate and would certainly stay again. Thank you for a great stay"

"a no frill hotel quite accessible from the Nottingham city center-- 15 mins max. from the bus/train station and a short troll from the main city center. the room has all basic amenities and is big and clean enough for a good rest. the breakfast has good enough choices worth to include that in the package"
