"Great location great for hoping around the region. Very homey feel which I felt good. I arrived early and the owner helped to store my luggage. Be prepared to buy extra food during low season as there is nothing open after 6pm. Luckily there is one local convenient shop still opened after some search at this very small town."

"Great! I took the bus from Nagano to Umiike Station, and the hotel is right next door, about 30 meters away. It's super close and convenient, and the breakfast is incredibly rich!"

"Great location, one of the snow liner stops at Tsugaike, if you are taking that shuttle traveling direct from Narita airport. Also only few mins walk to the gondola station to hit the slopes. Friendly staff, discounted lift passes are available at the reception, cash only though. Highly recommended if you are staying at Tsugaike."

"The hotel is 10 minutes close to the ski resort and is ski in ski out. You can see the slope outside straight from the room. Breakfast and dinner were 10% satisfied. There are also lounge where you can pay for different kinds of wine. The boss lady is very hospitable! The hotel also has a large bath, perfect for relaxing after skiing! Will definitely visit again!"
