Hotels with Parking in Nanaimo

Just be advised, if you are planning to walk Cathedral Trail from here, it takes 40 min drive as the distance itself isn't that far but there's no straight route and you will have to drive around the mountain. Stay itself was really nice with clear wide view.

This hotel is a bit biased on Victoria Island. If it is not self-driving, it is very inconvenient. The hotel is relatively new. The facilities are relatively complete. There are hot springs. Facing a small lake, it was quite peaceful. There is a kitchen, but we don’t have time to cook by ourselves. The breakfast at the hotel is good, you can make your own waffles. Did not see the Chinese. Because there was only a foreign couple who went to the hot springs late. There is free parking.

Hotel location is very easy to find, the room, bedding and bathroom supplies are very new and clean, arrived at the hotel early on the same day and checked in in advance, it really made the guests have a good experience. If you need to take a boat back to Vancouver in the morning, this hotel is a very good choice. It takes only 5 minutes from the hotel to the departure bay ferry terminal, which is very convenient. I will stay at this hotel next time I come to Nanaimo.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sunrise ridge, our 1 bedroom junior suite was very nice, quiet and comfortable. Really nice outdoor pool and beautiful grounds.  TV box could use an update but otherwise all good.

The room is badly in need of renovations because the very old carpeted floor is uneven and bumpy. There is a smell in the room where I had to open the window to air. The bathtub hot water is just barely warm. A report to the receptionist on my 3rd evening.. who suggested I change my room. When I checked on the first day, the reception offered a room upgrade which I rejected after I went to the room because it was very dark and gave an uneasy feeling. This is probably the worst hotel on this trip in Canada where I have been for last one month.

It’s my first Best western in few decades. Pleasantly surprised by the modernity and cleanliness. Room is comfortable and compact with all the basic touches and a good layout. The free breakfast was a nice touch. Location is perfect for one night stay to get in and out from the highway.

We had a great time. The staff is friendly and helpful, offering good informatiin for island activities. (highway closure, local acyivities and such) The pool is a little cold but there is a nice hot tub jacuzzi option. The pools hours of availability are terrific, and allowed for plenty of time for fun The breakfast available with the stay offers a good basic variety of hard boiled eggs, cereals, toast and bagels juice and coffee or tea. Just one suggestiin would be to add aniyher ice machine, otherwise we are happy with our stay and found everything clean and enjoyable Again such friendly and helpful staff throughout. It was a nice experience. Amenities are very accessible.

Pretty awesome place. I like the having security cameras pointed towards the parking lot. Makes me feel safe with leaving our loaded vehicle outside. The bathroom looks modern and nice. I would love to stay here again
