An absolute gem of a place. From the warm welcome to the excellent dinner we were made to feel welcome. The owners are really genuine hosts and know their trade well. The room was great very cute with all the facilities you’d expect for the price point. Our previous booking had been cancelled earlier that day and I so glad we ended up at the Castle Arms. Great value for money in all departments. We had our dogs with us and felt safe and could see our van from the window of the room. Plus there was plenty of space to run them.

Breakfast was excellent, staff friendly and welcoming. The room was a little cold at night and an extra blanket would have been nice. A beautiful setting in North Yorkshire.

Lovely kind and thoughtful staff x lovely room and pub! A chilled relaxing atmosphere 100% AND the food was delicious! Thank you for serving us just after closing time x and with the addition of needing a Gluten Free choice! So glad we chose to spend our precious little time together xxx
