NNandiniSimply Wow!
My family and I stayed at this gorgeous place for over a week and enjoyed our stay. The owner, Mr. Abhinav Singh, personally takes care of every need of the tourists and goes the extra mile to make sure that the tourists are comfortable and are having a pleasant experience. The property is very immaculate, and all the famous places in Varanasi are nearby.
Mr. Abhinav Singh helped us organize our amazing trip to Varanasi, and also our awesome journey to Ayodhya Dham and Vidhyavasini Dham Shaktipeeth. The staff and drivers are always willing to help with a pleasant smile on their faces, they all are very kind, cooperative, respectful and warm people.
I recommend this Hotel Golden Lotus Varanasi to everyone. I am grateful to Mr. Singh, all the drivers and the staff. Many blessings to all.

DDzianis RThe location of the hotel is god if you want to live near Ganga ghats and get there by walking. The room wasn't clean, in the wardrobe was a dirty sheet, one bottle with shampoo was half-used. We left hotel early in the morning (between 5-6 a.m.) to have a sunrise boat ride. There was a sleeping staff member near the reception and we didn't want to wake him up. But when we returned we was asked to say if want to go early and had to return to the hotel before 22-30. And we were extra charged for 157 rupees during checking out, even though we had prepaid the whole amount of money via trip's app. The manager said that trip.com haven't civered the whole summ and we had to pay more.

BBartZelfNice place to stay in the bustling city of Varanasi, hotel is clean and all necessary amenities provide an excellent place to take a rest from the city that is pretty crazy. It is about four kilometers from the river Ganges. Breakfast is fine but not very extended, meals for dinner were good price wise.
The only issue we had was the way too loud noise of the air ventilation in the shower that took a lot of drama before it was turned off, a request that I had to repeat three out of four nights. Overall I would recommend this place though, it's professional and decent and an oasis compared to what you'll encounter once you get onto the streets.

MMAYUI highly recommend staying at this hotel which is a great hotel.
We ran into trouble as soon as we arrived at Baranashi. It was still before check-in time, but when I went to Hotel Bagla Atithi Banaras, the front desk staff contacted the manager. The manager rushed to me immediately and supported me as much as I could. The manager was worried about us during our stay and spoke to us. If I hadn't met the manager and staff of this hotel, my memories in Varanasi would have been sad. But thanks to them, it was a wonderful stay.
This hotel is within walking distance of the most famous Dashashwamedh Ghat, located in the center of Varanasi. The location is also great. The hotel room, bathroom, bed, everything is perfect. The shower has plenty of warm water. The shower has plenty of warm water. the bed was large and clean, and it healed my tired body by walking around the city of Varanasi. If you are hungry, please go to the restaurant on the 4th floor. you can eat clean, warm and delicious food. All the restaurant staff are also very kind. We will never forget meeting the manager of this hotel. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you very much.

GGuest User(Good point)
Lobby is clean and nice
Good staff, good ***ners and good service
I checked in at 15:00, but I was able to check in normally even if I went to 12:00.
the restaurant is beautiful
The bed is soft and comfortable
Good laundry service
The pool is pretty clean. Not at a level where you can't swim.
Is there a breakfast buffet menu every day? change. I stayed 2 nights but it was nice to have a change.
(bad place)
I lost my friend's earphones in the room, but I couldn't find them. 2 hours after check out...
old hair dryer
Heavy construction noise during the day
Occasional power outages (recovers in about 1 minute, but often...)
Hotel facilities (rooftop, lounge, etc.) are lacking in some places
It feels old and deserted.
The view from the window is not good (surrounding ruins, etc.)
The breakfast bread is bad (croissants, donuts, etc.) and should be improved.

AAvdeitutGood hotel, but a little old, visible on furniture and plumbing. In general convenient, a taxi car can come up. Location next to the ass ghat, live comfortably. Restaurant on top is weak
7.3/10
GGuest UserOverall good. Located on main road towards Kashi Vishwanath temple (around 1 km). Food was good, home type. Basic amenities, good enough. We received good services. All staff were kind, polite & very helpful especially Mr Ashish who guided us properly throughout our stay there.
There is a scope of improvement in maintaining cleanliness. However, overall it was okay as we had visited during busy days. Prices are bit high was due to the auspicious time.

GGuest UserThe Hotel is located in a rather congested area without a shred of greenery.
The check in was quick and the room was kept ready. A few structural fallacies in the room were realised only later by me. The glass door of the shower cubicle had almost 2.5 inches space at he bottom and an inch on the sides. With the result water would pour out on taking a bath and wet the entire wash room. The shower heads were also blocked and it was not a happy experience having the plumber working in the toilet on a ladder for almost an hour trying to clean the shower heads.
Regarding housekeeping , on day 2 of my stay the housekeeping arrived after repeated calls to the reception only at 5 pm and on day 3 they came at 2 pm only on personally complaining at the reception. This was unacceptable since all our towels were already utilised in mopping the wet floor in the washroom.
There is only one restaurant in the Hotel where I found the staff very cordial and friendly though the menu could be more elaborate…. it definitely was not up to the industry standard which would justify the costs.
In a nutshell you could try the Hotel out provided you are prepared to deal with the few lacunae that exist at this point of time.
