Very Good
KkiaunaThis hotel was absolutely beautiful. From the stay, to the staff, the brunch, everything was top tier. The location is great, near a lot of restaurants and chill spots with good vibes. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be returning. We've found a go to spot when staying in Norfolk.
GGuest UserI had items stolen from my room after the first cleaning. There has been zero promises kept and zero engagement now 6 days after the incident.
Mgmt promised an investigation and calls. I didnt get calls. I had to seek out the GM of the hotel. When I finally spoke about my issues, I was asked what it would take to
make me satisfied. I told the mgr if they removed 50% of the cost of the stay, that would satisfy me. It has now been 4 days since my conversation with mgmt, and I still have not been contacted back by the hotel mgr. No calls, no emails, no follow up. I have now had to place the entire charge on hold and refuse to pay, as Delta Hotel by Marriott at the Norfolk Airport location has no idea how to settle a dispute with a sticky fingered room cleaner and an upset guest who simply wanted their items back.
GGuest UserHad another great stay a the Hampton Inn, Norfolk.
Front desk representative Melissa was awesome! She made you feel welcomed and was very professional and helpful. We also had the pleasure of meeting Tim who was also very professional and polite. The room was right and clean. Walls were well insulated, you do not hear your neighbors or people walking/talking in the hallway. The breakfast was fantastic. There was a Waffle bar, bagels with toaster, Veggie and cheese omelets, hatd boiled eggs,, sausage, Oatmeal, muffins and assorted pastries and assorted juice dispencer. Would reccomend this location.
GGuest UserWhile the location is wonderful this hotel has fallen victim to the Covid standard. Basically they provide little to no service, no cleaning, no room service, can’t even get the room adequately stocked with coffee for a room price markup of 20-30%. Plus you have to pay $13/day for on site parking in which they park their shuttles so there’s even less parking lot parking. Initially I thought it was nice to find water and tea in the lobby but soon found the tea hadn’t been changed and was old and sour. Also the breakfast offered at the restaurant is outrageously expensive.
GGuest UserGood motel with good breakfast. On the shore, you can walk on the beach. There are washing machines and dry machines. We had a two-room room, I don't know if everybody was.
GGuest UserAt check-in the clerk seemed a bit irritated or ready to go. I usually get great customer service when I stay here. I guess she was having a bad day.
GGuest UserThe staff was nice but hotel was not in good shape. We were coming to this city to see our daughter’s school function. Then the tropical storm hit, and the event was cancelled. I tried to cancel 48 hours in advance but they did not allow. I even asked if we could just get a rain check and use it when the event was ti be rescheduled 4 weeks later. They said no.
Like I said though, the staff was very nice.
