Guest UserLived in Victoria for 40+ years and our first stay at the Empress. Great history inside and out. Delicious breakfast in the Bengal Lounge. We will be returning.

Guest UserThe cleanness of the room was excellent. The room had a musty smell had to go out and purchase an air freshener to help absorb the smell. I asked if they had bbq was told yes. So we went out bought a steak only to find out it is a charcoal bbq and you had to supply your own. So it was a big disappointment and put a damper on our stay. The hotel is not close to city so heading out again was not an option.
If you want cleanliness it was 100%
