"The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The on-site restaurant is truly a hidden gem—both the food and drinks were outstanding. The only issue I encountered was with the air conditioning in the room. It was quite noisy, so I turned it off before bed to get a better night’s sleep. However, I woke up early in the morning to find it had turned itself back on and the room temperature had dropped to 18°C which was uncomfortably cold. I mentioned this to the front desk during check-out and the staff member sincerely apologized and assured me they would look into it. I appreciated the way the situation was handled. And the other thing is the room is a bit overpriced."

"I almost didn't book here because it appears to be a 1950s motel with fresh paint. That would have been a huge mistake. The location is perfect for wandering downtown and the parks by the lake. The room was bright, colorful, and one of the cleanest ever. I couldn't stop being amazed by the updates and upgrades, and all the bright colors kept me smiling. The color matched vw bus in the lot defines the character. I will choose Hotel Zed again over any of the boring up-scale or traditional places to stay in Kelowna. It's different, fun, and a great place."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Kelowna. Staff were friendly, swimming pool and slide were great for our 9 year old, free breakfast was fantastic! My only complaint would be that I booked a room with a king size bed saying it sleeps 4 (2 adults and 2 children), so I assumed there would be a pull out couch. There was only one king bed. So my toddler slept in her playpen that we brought along and my 9 year old had to sleep on the floor. I’m not really sure how one bed means you can sleep 4 people?  But we made it work and our stay was great besides that issue."

If cleanliness is important to you, this hotel makes an excellent choice, as our guests consider this to be one of the cleanest hotels in the city.
"The hotel staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which made for a welcoming atmosphere. The room itself was spacious, and the bathroom was notable small. While the stay was generally satisfactory, there were a few concerns that impacted my experience. Unfortunately, I encountered numerous small flies in the room, including one on a towel, which required me to use tissues to address. Additionally, the elevator was in need of more frequent cleaning, as it appeared quite dirty during my stay. On a positive note, the hotel offered breakfast vouchers for Ricky’s, conveniently located just outside. These vouchers were valid until 4 PM, which provided a nice level of flexibility."
