"The hotel is quite dated and needs some tlc to bring it up to the standard we were expecting. Unfortunately every door needs re painting and the fact that this is left for guests to see demonstrates some lack of care. The two bedroomed family suite was supposed to have Air Conditioning, but in one bedroom this was completely broken and in the other the unit was merely a fan (NOT air conditioning as described) which you couldn’t switch off, so was noisy all night. Breakfast was very basic and the tiny room where this was served completely inadequate for the number of guests in the hotel - who had to queue to get in. We resorted to eating in our rooms as there was no space to sit down there. The pool was quite nice but small."

"There was a small problem when checking in, so I contacted Ctrip immediately and Ctrip quickly helped to solve it. I gave it a good review. But overall, the hotel is average... The Golden area is generally very ordinary, expensive and without any special features. You can avoid it if you can."
